My fellow Burmese. You can get authentic Burmese cuisine here. No BS. However, they should make bigger portion.

Yesterday was my first time dining at this restaurant, and it will probably be my last.
There were three people in our party, and there was virtually no table service throughout the meal. We had to get our own water, and the only service provided was that the staff brought the food to our table.
What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the checkout process. I handed my credit card to the server, and when he returned, he simply gave me the receipt without asking for my signature or explaining any additional charges. It was only after reviewing the receipt that I discovered a 15% gratuity had already been added automatically.
For a dining experience that involved little more than food delivery to the table, I do not believe an automatic 15% gratuity is justified. More importantly, it was not clearly disclosed beforehand. Charging a mandatory 15% gratuity for a party of only three people feels more like a hidden fee than a fair charge based on the actual level of service provided.

First time trying burmese restaurant, it was delicious. Included 15% tip can throw some people off but these authentic places needs to survive and thrive so i have no issues. Love the calm atmosphere and free hot tea was nice.

Never had Burmese food before, so was very interested to try it as we've experienced many different countries and their food cultures. The flavours were new and very good. But the presentation was very poor. The Pickled Tea Leaf Salad was really different and tasty, but looked tired and lacking in freshness. Both curries (Chicken and Pork Offal) were very interesting from a flavour perspective but were just not well presented. I really want places like this to thrive. But it needs a bit more.

If you wanna try the real Burmese taste, morning star will be your first priority. The real hidden gem of Burmese foods in LA county. First I tried Kyay O Si chat which was almost same taste as the one in my hometown Yangon. Then another foods also amazing and tasty. Pretty sure I will come back again and again. Thank you Star π. Be successful more and more.

Weβre always on the hunt for good, authentic Burmese food as theyβre hard to come by, so we were excited to try this place out. It did not disappoint, the food and flavors were delicious! You can also adjust the strength of the tea and add condensed milk, tasted fantastic either way. Reminded me of Hong Kong style milk and Thai milk tea, but more fragrant and less sweet! Loved the experience and hope to come back soon!

Family-owned, excellent service. Portions just right for the price. 15% service charge, no tipping needed. Free tea. The took over a Japanese restaurant and kept the decor. Place is clean, spacious and has a calming ambience. Food is a bit salty for my taste but pairing it with coconut rice reduced the saltiness. Wish I ordered a 2 helpings of the coconut rice. We had the mohinga, original chicken curry and the tea leaf salad. All three items were salty. The tea was refreshing. It tastes like the wintermelon tea my grandma used to make.

This restaurant is excellent. I didnβt expect the food to taste so authentic, especially since most Burmese restaurants in America Iβve been to donβt offer a truly traditional flavor. They usually just make dishes that resemble it.
If you really want to experience authentic Burmese food, Iβm sure this restaurant will deliver it perfectly.

Owner donβt answer customers questions regarding food and left the customers alone. Also didnβt ask customer about how much tips customers want to pay and he chooses 15% tip on his own without customers approval or agreement. Very bad service.
