I grew up with the OG Pepe’s in Alhambra. This location holds roughly the same frequency of food in taste and quantity. The downfall in Covina is the Carne Asada tends to have more gristle and I even got a bone once. Taste overall is great but watch out, you might crack a tooth while fighting the meat.

What kills everything for us is that every night the music is incredible loud, hard metal rock. The guys don't mind the customers that clearly are annoyed by that.

The food is alright but the service is inconsistent. One of the first times I went I ordered a California burrito (carne asada, French fries, cheese, and sour cream) and asked if they could add guacamole to the burrito. They told me they could. I got the burrito from the drive thru and the burrito was awesome. The fries were nice and crispy, the meat was seasoned and cooked well, and they included the guacamole.
I went back twice over the next two weeks. Asked for the same thing both times. Both times I was told, “yeah we can add guacamole.” Both times I got the burrito and it did not come with guacamole.
The burrito is just not as good without guacamole and it’s sooo frustrating to be expecting guacamole and not getting it. If they can’t put guacamole in it, just tell me no.
The nachos are pretty good too.

I got the Famous Breakfast Burrito this morning. I must say, it had enough of everything in it. The eggs, cheese, bacon and potatoes. Wasn't dry and great with a side of green salsa. I'll definitely be returning. My new place for a breakfast burrito.

I got food poisoning from this place. I definitely would not recommend coming here. I should’ve trusted my instincts—the place looked dirty, and when I pulled up, all the employees were outside. That should’ve been a sign. I won’t be returning.

Delicious food!!! The rice and sauce are so yummy. The beans with lot of cheeses so good!!! Everthing was so good! Habanero salsa was smoky and hot! I used the drive through. Fast service.

Ordered a asada/bean burrito Was basically a bean burrito, little meat. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. Paid $14 for beans and tortilla
Extremely disappointed. My husband would swear this place was good and the day I happen to want to try it. It was so bad I ordered chilaquiles and literally had 4-5 small chips in there . Both my rice and beans were drenched in water guacamole. I got some fries and tasted like pure old oil. The workers definitely looked as if we were a bother. Definitely never going back!!!

I might be biased, but I enjoy their green Chile burrito with a small side of fries which always come out fresh and they always have the red sauce and sliced jalapeños which tickles my fancy!
