Great place, reminds me of Japan. Very clean and very friendly staff. The Nigiri Sushi was great and very filling. The Miso was great and the actual tofu chunks were a great sight to see. Definitely a must try and if local I'd be a regular.Arigato Gosaimasu!
Sushi was very fresh and tasty. Teriyaki chicken was good, basic. It is a very small place and very loud. The restroom was clean. Average price about $15. Per roll.Dietary restrictions: I asked for gluten free soy sauce but they didn't have any. I try to bring my own but forgot. They did substitute tempura shrimp in my roll for unbattered shrimp since we're gluten free.

Our long-time sushi restaurant (Bishamon) suddenly closed. We found Yashima nearby and gave it a try. Everything was excellent! It has a nice family atmosphere. I'm very happy with our dining experience.

Yashima is a great restaurant. The fish is fresh and tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the waiters are friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the dinner combination with sushi and sashimi.

This is a small but quant Japanese restaurant. I've seem this place get very busy because it's very popular with the locals. Their food is delicious and they serve other things that are not on the menu. You may just have to get that info from someone whites been going there for years though...They have limited hours, so I would check before you go, don't plan this last minute, earlier you go the better off you are.Vegetarian options: Well, depends in the type of vegetarian you are.
