All aces for this place. I ordered branzino and it was great! My friend ordered prime rib and she said it was great too. We ordered the chocolate bomb for dessert- Yummy!

This place rocks! Serious seafood cookin goin on here! BIG servings of the freshest crab, mussels, squid, calamari and clams. Bread and butter was superb. My Cali fam took me here before I headed out on my journey north. Love the ambiance, service and great view of the Carquinez channel. Didn't want to give only a 4, but a 4.5...and that's because the crab legs were really salty. I will definitely come back when I'm in the Bay though!

We went on a road trip this weekend and wanted to stop and have dinner before we headed home. The name of the restaurant peaked our interest so we went in! The decor was eclectic and fun! There were all kinds of things hanging from the ceiling. There were binoculars at each table so that you could look out the window! From the windows there is a stunning view of the Carquinez Bridge. The food was good. It came out quickly and was fresh and hot. The menu is hilarious that is why I added the picture of it! The story behind the restaurant is fantastic. Fun place you should try it!

Food was ok. Service was good enough. The restaurant was pleasant. Overall nothing special. Might enjoy more in the summer outside on the patio.

Having been there before, 9 of us, it was great!! Tonight the same 9 went for dinner. We were put way back in the last room, caboose room?. Servers handed us the food to hand to appropriate person instead of going around the table and delivered to each person! Food was literally tepid! Clam chowder tepid! Fettuccine Alfredo had no sauce, literally none (had to ask for sauce). Enchiladas were good and hot. Bread plopped in the middle of the table, literally dropped! All the servers looked like they were pissed so consequently their service showed that. Waitress good but could have been a little more attentive! Very disappointed this time. ?

Hovering along the scenic waterfront of Crockett, Dead Fish Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that blends exquisite seafood with breathtaking views. From the moment you step inside, the nautical ambiance sets the stage for a memorable meal. The menu boasts an impressive array of seafood options, ranging from fresh oysters to succulent crab legs. Each dish is expertly prepared with a focus on quality and flavor. The sizzling crab and shrimp combo is one of my many favorites. It is enough for two and the seafood dipped in the two sauces they provide elevates the taste. In addition to the delectable seafood offerings, Dead Fish Restaurant also features a well-curated selection of wines and cocktails, perfect for pairing with your meal or enjoying on the outdoor patio as you soak in the scenic surroundings. Service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall charm of the dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal, Dead Fish Restaurant delivers on all fronts, making it a standout destination in Crockett for seafood lovers and scenic enthusiasts alike.

This place was amazing. Awesome location with excellent views of the bay! Food was exceptional. The raw milk cheese bread was unique and scrumptious. Then we had the rib eye and branzino with the creamed spinach. We loved everything! Portions were big too. Can't wait to go back!

We set outside. Unfortunately we were next to a rowdy group and could barely have a conversation ourselves.

The shrimp was over cooked and very tiny. The chowder, calamari was great. I would suggest serving jumbo shrimp. Service was okay.

Food was okay, view is amazing. I over heard my server say that he greats everyone by there last name when they pay for their meal, I noticed he didn't great me that way, wonder why?

We stopped here on our way back from Pt. Reyes. Cute place with lots of fish decor, right between the Carquinez Strait and the San Pablo Bay, just past the bridge. It was very busy, so we didn't have a water view, but the service was good and it was a fun place to eat. I thought I'd try something I hadn't had before, so I had the Sea Bass. I'm sure it was prepared correctly, but it wasn't my favorite. If I go back, I'll try something more to my liking. They really have an extensive menu, so that was on me. My son had the Ribeye Steak and it was very good.

This is one of our favorite places to stop either going/coming from SF. The view is amazing and food is always fantastic! My favorite thing to get here is either roasted crab or Cioppino. My husband usually orders a prime rib or some meat option. Reservations are highly recommended since they get quite busy. Make sure you lock up your valuables as there have been break-ins in the parking lot!

We loved everything about The Dead Fish, except that fact that the nice waitress held out her phone when cashing in and electronically made us choose the amount to tip her with a minimum choice of 18%. I rather pay with a paper invoice and be free in determining the amount of tip.Other than this disturbance, this is an excellent venue and we will hopefully go again!PS: never had a lighter and fresher fish & chips!
