PAKISTAN ??Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:To see the word "chargha" used in the name of a restaurant is an immediate transport back to Lahore, where the various famous food streets have many places to try the dish that originates in this capital city of Pakistan's Punjab province.Looking into restaurant windows reveals long skewers of chicken that have been marinated overnight in yogurt and spices. These are ready to be placed over charcoal grills in front, creating big clouds of smoke day and night, or into a tandoor. Here in Culver City, they do the latter, with specially made skewers that hook at the top of the oven. The menu at Chargha House has an image of Minar-e-Pakistan on the front, a tower built in the 1960's in Lahore and now a national monument. With the city so prominent at the Westside restaurant, it is with great confidence that you can order the city's most famous dish. A whole chicken is cut into 10-12 pieces and sold for $17.99, but you can place an order for chargha half chicken ($9.99) if necessary.

I'm picky with my flavor. This is the best Indian food in the area. A must try!

this place is the jam. to be fair, i dont know what authentic pakistani food is, but the flavors of these dishes are fantastic for a western palate. only issue (not for me, but for my family) is that they only know one level of spice. SPICY. great for me, not so much for my family.

We got chicken Tikka pieces to go. Ate them at home after tea and omg so so delicious!! Reminiscent of Pakistan. The spices were appropriate accurate and just.. right!! And the meat was cooked perfectly! Not overdone and dry but just well done and good meaty pieces too. Nicely done! Def redo!

The food is very affordable for the buffet and they also offer complementary chai tea and naan. The tika masala chicken was a bit on the dryer side today but overall they have great options. You get to try many options if you go for their buffet that you wouldn't get to try if you got single item! If you're in the area this is a good place to try!

The much advertised charga is not charga - it’s a chicken boti which is grilled on the skewer. Charga is boiled them deep fried or broasted. It’s not bad. Overall the meat was slightly undercooked and not marinated well.

Amazing Pakistani cuisine ! Their curries are lip smacking, portions are huge. Highly recommend their chicken makhani, nihari and saag paneer. Owner is a gentleman, make sure to ask for what you need in your online orders or at the restauant they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. I cant wait to order from them again :)

The quantity of the food delivered was way less than what they actually claimed it to be which was 24oz per dish!! They refused to resend the order or refund us the amount or for that matter offer any future discounts and in-fact were extremely defensive and unwilling to accept any kind of feedback about their food! Also their food was extremely spicy and way too much oily!!Avoid ordering from here if you don’t want to get ripped off !!!

Very nice food. They had real Chargha instead of chicken broast which some restaurants serve in disguise of Chargha. I appreciate the honesty. Mango lassi was awesome! Portion sizes were good and pricing is also reasonable. Very satisfied with this restaurant and it’s service. The owner is very active and manages his customers himself. One thing they can improve on is reducing the waiting time for the customers by maybe having 1 or 2 more employees in back to cook food faster. Would definitely recommend this place to all family and friends. And I plan on going there again with my family.
