Generic/chain vibes. Friendly staff but the atmosphere was as dry as the brisket. Should have known better than to get bbq in California.

As a person who has spent 20 years loving in TX & GA I know good BBQ. There are regional varieties & different things that not everyone may like, but if it's good, it can be good, even if that particular variety was not my favorite. TX BBQ is my favorite. I had the brisket and I'll say this was pretty good. It's better than most brisket in southern California. It tender, nice and smoky, not too fatty & sliced well. It was sliced before the rest of me food was ready though so by the time it got to the table it was barely warm. The bread & butter pickles are a nice touch. The cheese curds are good, but very greasy & should be drained more before serving. The cornbread is on the sweet side, but not so sweet that it fights with the rest of the meal & the honey butter is great. If this restaurant was near me I'd probably go at least monthly. The price is good for what it is. I think the restaurant is a bit dark & they need to ditch the paper napkin dispenser on the table and go with the classic roll of paper towels. I also suggest wet wipes brought out with the food.

$40 of Mediocrity. Small sauce selection. Cold meet. Bland macaroni. Tobacco hot sauce for greens. Oh yeah small sauce selection. The meat was totally dry and cold!

On my way home traveling from San Diego to The Bay Area thought I’d stop in LA for some Bar B Que. Man…..They served me cold, unseasoned meat and a bland cup of potato salad for $37 bucks. The customer service was great and the location was real nice.

really bad food after two tries
it's too bland, and the flavors that it does have are just off

This used to be a decent spot but has gone downhill last few years. Their ribs are decent but their brisket is super dry. The bbq sauce is also very watery and lacks flavor.

Came with friends for dinner. We live out of town in the Midwest and have lots of authentic BBQ joints around us. This was meh. BBQ was served lukewarm and portion size was quite small for the price paid. Brisket had pretty good flavor. Service meant well but can only deliver so much. Disappointed in the two meat combo with mashed potatoes for what we paid. I’ll stick to BBQ in the BBQ belt of the US. Los Angeles is Mexican restaurant territory!

I don’t really like to leave bad reviews for food but this isn’t bbq. The place is nice and clean but that’s All. Two types of different chicken were super dry, one had sauce and the other dry. But it was dry dry. The ribs were confusing. Not fall off the bone at all, you’ve gotta attack this thing with muscle. we ordered cornbread but believe it was just garlic toast? The food overall lacked taste. We placed a Togo order maybe an hour or two before closing. Received our food right on time but as we arrived home it was pretty cold. Weather I place my order for dine in or take out, my food should still be hot. There’s no way they sample the menu each day and say “oh yeah that’s good bbq” you’re kind of better off making it your self if you want that “bbq experience” to be honest. Or just find somewhere else. But bbq in Culver City doesn’t exist. I don’t mean to sound harsh but I’m just being honest. This was my experience. I highly recommend NOT to come here… please. And no I don’t want to retry.
Nobody uses shell pasta for mac n cheese.

Not as good as my meal at the Santa Monica location. Pulled pork tasted like it had been reheated and wet.
Staff was friendly but not overly attentive (and we were the only people in the restaurant).
If we had gone to this location first, we wouldn’t have come back.

Barely any meet on beef ribs. Very mid
Holy Cow... For almost $30 you could have given me more than 4 bones and 1 link that was supposed to be hot and wasn't.. but the meat did fall off the bones?
And because I traveled so far the young man had given me an extra side. I thought that was very sweet. And the only reason why I went there is because I had seen him on KTLA.. but the meat was delicious.. you should hire me to make your Mac and cheese ? I promise I won't disappoint!!!
