“i was here this morning and i have to say this is the best five guys i have been to so far.
first off let me start off from the lady at the register. i am not a native english speaker,but she was very patient with me. She gave me really good recommendations on the food. “Oh boy!!!! That hot dog with onions chili and pastrami!!!!!! Fire!!!!! Those onions are incredible sabrett onions were never that good. I had the salmon burger with onions the onions took over the burger but it was still good next time no cooked onions. The chicken patty has good flavor just wanted more filling. The beef pattie was ok. The fries were decent I would get them more well done next time... but can we please gst back to this hot dog creation and that salmon burger!!!! I will be back before i head to the airport for those for sure and the chicken patty!“

“we were visiting universal studios in LA from the UK and being 2 vegetarians, we were a bit unsure on how our hot dogs would taste. we needn't of worried. with all the toppings or without, the veggie sausage was awesome! also, being from the UK, I queried what funnel cake was to our server, as I had seen it a few times in LA. he explained and it sounded interesting, so I said if I had room afterwards, I may try it. whilst eating our meal the lovely server bought 1 over to try for free! super nice food and the staff are the icing on the cake. highly recommend for something quick and filling and reasonably priced on the universal city walk.“

“This is the best shrimp guacamole sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! Flavor is 100/10! The guacamole is so fresh and flavored, you can taste the herbs and avocado. Really really good. Honestly that’s a very good price they sell for too because it’s a lot and the flavor is really good. The little calamari/lobster bites (if i remember the name correctly) were really one of a kind. They were really delicious.“

“Truly the best hot dog I’ve had in months, and I am a big dog eater. The texture was delightful. A lovely snap, and wonderful toppings like cooked onions and jalapeño. Incredible deal for a meal, $8 for a hot dog, chips and a soda! There is also plenty of condiments. They also have heaters and fans so it’s nice and comfortable. The drinks are kept on ice and lots of selection. The placement of the jalapeños was also very well done.“

“I have been going here for 5 years now. This is a must-try food truck in this St. James Park area (by the car dealerships). My fav is the bacon-wrapped hot dog or asada quesadilla. It's the perfect blend of flavors and textures, making it a crowd-pleaser.

“When we came in here after 8 PM there was only one other party here. The guy behind the counter was polite and explained the menu. I enjoyed the lobster bun with most of the toppings. The main problem was my friend ordered his with a regular bun and it was stale and sucked so bad that he had to throw the bun away. The person who did the prep should realize this and offer something better if what they have is not fresh.“

“Maaaaan if the burgers and fries didn’t hit as hard as they do, I’d say just pass on it but in complete honesty, they make delicious greasy spoon munchies. It’s literally just a walk-up counter, but they’re local favorites for a reason.

Downsides include how early they close, limited street parking, cold customer service (at times condescending), no dine-in service, horrible atmosphere since there’s no safe space for people to wait for their orders. Lastly, I think their prices are a bit too high for this area/financial climate… in my opinion of course.

“I’ve been dying to try these haunt dogs since I came across them on Instagram! I finally located the frankenstand this last weekend ! It was definitely well worth the wait ! The toppings were delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the ambience of his stand gave it some spooky vibes which I absolutely love !!! The crazy part is, I’m not even vegan, and I would choose these forever snd ever. My friends were also very pleased with their dogs as well. They even bought some to go for later ! The flavor was good, and the chili had a nice kick, but the cheese was a bit too much for my liking—it overpowered the other ingredients. For out-of-town women, I recommend being aware on the street. By no fault of the business, an obviously drunk man hit on me for several minutes while I waited for the store to open.

“It was my first time eating here. The food was good. I couldn’t believe how much they charge for just a hotdog. I decided to go with the chili burger. It was a small burger and the chili was good. After all, they use a secret recipe to make it. As for the dining area. There are tables and chairs outside under a roof. When I went, the drive thru seemed to be where they make their money because there was a line of cars waiting to drive thru.“
