Great ambiance and venue, drinks are not good for the price. I make better cocktails at home.

1. Odd menu. Expensive for their offerings. The sea bass was about 1/4" thick. Really! The salad choices were very large, more like a main course. The special short ribs was tasty, served only on a thin bed of ordinary mashed potatoes. No veggie, nada. 2. Service is sloooooow. An immediate "hello," then disappeared. Had to flag down to order drinks. Drink order was slooooow. Then had to flag down to order. Then had to flag down for the check. No inquiry about coffee/dessert/etc. Not good service and not good for sales. 3. Loud band started after about 30 minutes. So loud that it was impossible to talk and it was really torturous. Horrible for a restaurant, more appropriate after 11PM for the bar maybe. 4. Lastly, a surprise 5% add on for health services. Perhaps it's on the menu, didn't see it. 5. Glitchy experience trying to make the initial reservation. Finally, called the main number. It rang over 30 times.........no answer. This is the main hotel number. Bizarre. 6. Don't go. There are so many good and deserving restaurants within 1 mile.

The jazz band, which I believe only plays in the evenings on weekends, is lovely but it did make it more difficult to have conversations. I would reserve outdoor seating next time. Other than that, my experience there was outstanding.

Our party of four enjoyed a wonderful experience having dinner at The Culver Hotel Bar and Restaurant! This lovely historic hotel has a beautiful lobby, bar and restaurant. From the welcoming greeting by the hostess and her accommodating our request to move tables, to the friendly and professional waitress as well as the wonderful ambience of the room and the delicious starters and main courses, we had a memorable experience! We hope to be back soon! Thank you!

This was one of the most overpriced, diabolical dining experiences I've experienced in LA in a long time ... one and done ✔️

We decided to try out the Culver Hotel Bar and Restaurant as it had always been on our "To Do" list. We took advantage of the LA Dining Week menu and made reservations. Food was very good - reliable and tasty. I'd go back to eat more and try other things on their menu. Location is fabulous - in the heart of the Culver. We took advantage of the patio area which was perfect given the wonderful weather Service - fell a bit short. our waiter didn't crack a smile once. maybe he was having a tough night. not sure. made for awkward evening. other folks working there were great - very friendly and chatty. not sure what to say. If you eat inside, you get the advantage of the band and live music but it is loud.

The food, service and ambience were excellent. The noise was a bit loud due to a live band and singer performing but it added to the ambience. The Restaurant and Bar are located on the ground floor of The Culver Hotel which was built in 1924 as several film industry studios were setting up shop in Culver City.

It was like eating in a wind tunnel. We were indoors on a cool windy day and the air conditioning was so high that it was blowing my friends hair

Noise level was uncomfortable. Service and food were great but we won't be back because we could not talk with our guests due to the noise.

Consistently good. We've been to this restaurant a few times and it is an elegant venue for special occasions, and a wonderful place to take out-of-towners. The live jazz musicians are great, the room is beautiful, the service is attentive and gracious, and the food and wine are great. With all of this upside, I have to mention that you pay for it with a fairly high price tag for us. You do get what you pay for in this case, as everything is elevated here. Unfortunately, the Culver remains a special occasion place, and not a place we can afford to go more regularly. We truly appreciate that this is a one-of-a-kind, local experience in a world of corporate chains and consolidation. We see you, Culver. We will continue to support this fine establishment.

Beautiful decor and the Christmas decorations are lovely. Had brunch and they had a lot of options on the menu. Food was very good and so was the Are you a Good or a Bad Witch cocktail. Would highly recommend

I found this location looking for Christmas Day dinners for just my husband and myself. The location during this time of year is beautiful. The food was beyond good for a prefix menu. The service from hosts, our server Michelle and manager making our experience truly remarkable. I would recommend highly and will return Christmas 2026

The drinks were great. The service was great. The food was really great. Everything was well seasoned and good portions. I'd do it again next year. Thanks so much.
