“Our waiter, Jorge , was rude, intolerable and unacceptable. We have been patrons at Canter's since it started in Boyle Heights. I was a baby. It's a tradition. I've never been so embarrassed and disappointed for taking my family, my Jewish stepfather for the first night of Hanukkah received rolled eyes annoying breaths for asking for a refill of coke, he was insulted under the breath of being bothered by a barely busy waiter. In the last fifty years, the worst waiter I've ever experienced. Instead of introducing himself and asking what we would like to start with, we received “ it's the first night of Hanukkah, what do you want, tap tap tap, rolling eyes, better order now or we will run out” not in a cool east coast deli attitude way, in a grumpy rude, I don't want to be here, hurry up and order way. We're still talking about how horrible Jorge was. He ruined our first night's Hanukkah. We love Canter's and we will never stop dining there. But we never ever want to be waited by Jorge. What a mean, grumpy, rude man.“

“Tired of the regular pizza chains, I decided to try a neighborhood pizza parlor for a change of pace & flavor. NEW 8 PIZZA was amazing! I customized a medium pizza and it was absolutely delicious & visually appealing as well. Both pizza & hot wings were piping hot upon delivery and delivery was incredibly swift. This is my new go-to pizza parlor. Nothing like patronizing a local business of great quality.“

Perfect for lunch and dinner.My fav is the chicken pesto with a side order of extra grilled shrimps making a wonderful surf and turf recipe.The smoke salmon pasta Alfredo and the Shrimp Vodka sauce pasta are excellent !“

“I got these for a week, the food was cute. My 8yr old enjoyed everything except for the following, plant based eggs, dried fruit and that the Sun Butter sandwich was on sourdough bread. He loved having these special lunches, I loved that I didn't have to cook a meal. The portion was a little small for my 8yr old but he still enjoyed it. We will be purchasing more. Also I appreciated that they delivered out in the outskirts of Ventura County. Drop off was easy and bag and ice pack kept everything cold. Will be sharing this great service.“

“I just ordered from Dante Fried Chicken Ghost Kitchen in Koreatown, and wow the chicken was beautifully piping hot and incredibly juicy. You can tell they've brined it just right, the buttermilk soak really shines through. Definitely one of the most tender bites of fried chicken I've had. It lives up to its buzz!“
