Fairly small Italian restaurant in downtown Culver City. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was pretty good. There is a parking garage behind restaurant with free 60 minute parking.
I enjoy the food here. It has a lovely, homemade quality to it that is the polar opposite of Olive Garden. It's a small space with interesting, distressed decor that is reminiscent of ancient Roman ruins. A good place for a romantic date or an intimate dinner with close ones. They serve a complimentary soft, rosemary-flavored bread that is a nice touch. I love this place. I've been coming to Novecento for many years. The room can get a bit loud when it is crowded (there is nothing but hard wall surfaces) but the food is wonderful. I particularly enjoy the Gnocchi al Pesto which has a delightful, creamy sauce and melt-in-your-mouth gnocchi.
