My go to here is a single patty bacon and cheese burger.
It's the best I had in my 10 years in that area. There's an in and out 10 seconds away, but I never ate there even though that place is goated, too. That's how good this is.

Solid little fast food restaurant; quick service and good quality food at a reasonable price. I'd go here over nearby Wendy's or the Del Taco any day. They do a card charge, so if you want to save money, bring cash. I had a chicken burger plate with fries and a drink and it was good and cheap. No public restroom, and no drink refills. Still, I'd eat here over any other fast food restaurant nearby.

Excellent food. It never a hit and miss. They get it right every single time. Everything is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The inside of the restaurant definitely needs a little help, though. It is not the most enjoyable place to sit and eat, but you probably won't mind because you will be enjoying the great food. It's definitely worth giving a try for breakfast or lunch.

Dont get the pastrami sandwhich. It was just little pieces of old broken pastami. Owner lied in my face about quality.

Breakfast is suuuuuper greasy. Had toast eggs and sausage, made a lil sandwich and grease/butter was literally dripping out. The bottom of the styrofoam was also hella greasy. I know this isnt a health food restaurant but this was ridiculous.

Only gave 2 stars because of the great service. The guy at the counter was so sweet. But the food is sad. Chili cheese fries are a quarter of the size that the other locations give you and the “chili” was literally just refried beans and a slice of cheese. No meat whatsoever. Go to the location on west and pico instead!
I gave 3 stars because I’ve been here about 5 times and normally a pleasant guy takes my order but today I went in about 12:45 and a guy just looked at me instead of greeting me first. I walked up to register to place my order and I’m standing there waiting for receipt he just walks away. No thank you or anything. When he come back I ask for receipt, he puts receipt on counter (instead of my hands) and walks away… again. No customer service to a customer giving business.

Bare bones establishment (no restrooms available) w limited tables but with sports(Olympics) playing on the tv... double bonus.?? Can't miss w the bacon cheeseburger combo. Generous amts of tomato lettuce and onions. I regularly visit for breakfast before work, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, providing excellent value for the price. The food is always prepared quickly, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. I also appreciate that the TV is usually tuned to the news, which is perfect for catching the day's weather while I wait. Overall, Tom's Number 5 is a fantastic spot for a satisfying and efficient breakfast.
