I gave 3 stars because I’ve been here about 5 times and normally a pleasant guy takes my order but today I went in about 12:45 and a guy just looked at me instead of greeting me first. I walked up to register to place my order and I’m standing there waiting for receipt he just walks away. No thank you or anything. When he come back I ask for receipt, he puts receipt on counter (instead of my hands) and walks away… again. No customer service to a customer giving business.

One of the sole survivors of the strip establishment location on Venice Blvd next to 'Mainstream' Taco. Most of the rest of the place having burned down 2yrs ago. Casualties including long time local fave Smittys's and Golden China Restaurant. Strip rebuild and area rejuvenation pending.??

I regularly visit for breakfast before work, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, providing excellent value for the price. The food is always prepared quickly, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. I also appreciate that the TV is usually tuned to the news, which is perfect for catching the day's weather while I wait. Overall, Tom's Number 5 is a fantastic spot for a satisfying and efficient breakfast.
