Something about the layout and atmosphere of this place reminds me of Borders, with the bonus that this is a local indie bookstore and not a (now long-gone) national chain

Really cute bookstore with cafe 😍
Ordered a Spanish latte it was delicious.
Great variety of books, and there is a space for kids where they can read and play

The community events here are my favorite part of Culver City. I went to the board game night last Friday and I made some great friends. The book selection is pretty damn good and a great place to support indie authors.

Great bookstore with a wonderful atmosphere, good selection, and good coffee too — a nice spot to spend some time.

Jennifer is far from kind. I’ve had multiple interactions where it’s very obvious that she wants nothing to do with your business, it sucks but it did force me to find other independent bookstores. Spend your money with kind people who treat everyone with respect.

Great place to hang out and shop for books! Nice to see an indie book store in LA. They aren’t all dead and some are being reborn!

They left the wax cheese paper on in my grilled cheese. The grill cheese is $12 by the way.

Came to buy a book and grab a quick lunch meal with coffee. Very impressed with cleanliness and activity at this bookstore. Lots of people working and enjoying leisure reads seated around the store. Very amicable staff and quick service. Area for kid books as well. I parked in a nearby parking garage.

This book store is so cute and cozy. We have been loving the story times on Wednesdays and I know they have them on Saturdays too. I did want to bring awareness to something. The employees are all wonderful, however I feel I may have encounter some racism with a couple of customers and I haven been here three times already. One with a lady that I approached because she was hovering over a pair of chairs that were shaded. She was on the phone and I tried to politely ask her if she was going to sit there so my kid could eat his muffin we bought at the coffee shop. She said I’m on the phone and gave me a look like if she thought I was begging for money. The second one I was in line again for the coffee shop and when I got my stuff and was leaving with my kids one of the girls I passed by looked at me and said EW, I was very confused because what was so ew about me carrying my baby and holding my son’s hand. I really don’t want to think Culver City has turned racist. This place itself does seem inclusive and I hope the ones reading my review will know better than to come here and spread hate.

This is a bookstore I've wanted to visit for a long time. Although it was a brief visit, I was happy to find and purchase a planner I’ve been wanting. I plan to return when I have more time to enjoy a book at the cafe and participate in their events.

As a mom with a toddler, this is such a welcoming environment! Every time I come, I’m able to get a coffee, walk around, and enjoy the kids area with my son and the staff is always so helpful and kind. I really appreciate this bookstore 🫶🏼
