The quality of the grass carp slices was not good?, so I ate only two pieces and vomited when I got home. Product quality is not strictly controlled. Stomach upset.

Food was awesome. I’ve eaten at several Chinese restaurants in the area including some of my favorites, Queens in Mountain View, Grandmas kitchen, Soong Soong, and blue sky (my favorite but too far from my home)This one is going into the rotation. I got the sour cabbage and fish tofu soup. Tofu and fish were soft and flavorful. Second was the cauliflower with pork in hotpot. Again subtle delicious flavor with tender pork. Last was the cumin lamb. It smells very fragrant and when you eat it you taste the cumin but it isn’t overwhelming. It was a great balance of flavor.

I have updated my review after trying more dishes at this restaurant. I am a fan of their Sichuan/Hunan style cuisine, which is spicy and flavorful. There are many authentic options to choose from, and the prices are reasonable given the location, quality of the food, and portion sizes. We usually opt for takeout.

There are many tasty dishes in this location. Many of them are served with the hot plate and come out tasty. I would definitely recommend trying this place out as It is quite tasty. The fish and meat dishes are very good so get those.

I ordered Malatang for delivery for on Fantuan app today. It costs me $20 but there is literally nothing in it!! Only a few pieces of mushrooms and no more than half of a potato. I got very shocked with such little amount of food with $20!!!Ok since the owner responded, I added more here: yes together with a few very small pieces of cabbages and fungus. It’s not about what are inside, it’s about the amount. I can say it’s not even 1/3 pounds of vegetables in it, with $20 plus the delivery fee. I could get much better Malatang with the same price in other restaurants. Do not order Malatang!
