Nice cozy place for coffee and tea lovers. Desert options are great too. Taste is great. Mind it, serving sizes are pretty small as compared to boba places. We were a bit disappointed with the smaller quantities.

Drinks are fine, I used to come here every week for years but the energy from the staff is very strange. I think there is a lack of social conditioning here, feels like some of the baristas are experiencing a conversation for the very first time. I feel like an unwanted guest. I am a barista too, I will tip regardless, and I don’t need you to be kind —I get it, but please put in a little effort so we can have a normal and neutral social interaction. Every time I order here it’s an original experience. Just prompt me like a regular barista instead of silently dead pan staring or huffing and puffing cause I ordered a coffee at a coffee shop. Bro like can you please be normal 😂 it’s so strange but come here if you want to experience the strangest human interaction possible.

I’ve been going to this place for three years and it has always been one of my favorite cafes. There drinks are good, like the blended cookie and cream plus the blended red velvet, and I love their grilled cheese. It offers a great salad on the side too. My encounters with the server have always been good, and I love the atmosphere ranging all the way from the puzzles to the 90’s - 2000’s music. I love this place so much and I will continue to come here.

Best real coffee around. House drip and pour over are consistently excellent. Croissants are fantastic. I stopped going to other coffee shops because they are all disappointing compared to Bitter Sweet

I like this place - interesting and good drinks, the best grilled cheese, perfectly baked goods, chill music, handsome furniture and plants (lots and lots of plants). I’ve been going here for years, as many local neighborhood folks seem to do. However, the main barista can come off grumpy. He often responds with curt answers to innocuous questions; and after today’s rude interaction, I just don’t feel like coming back…
But I just took my first sip of the matcha rose he made, and it’s so frothy and delicious! And the pumpkin muffin tasted just right - crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside, just enough cinnamon and sweet flavors, and a touch of toasted nut sprinkles… Sigh… I might have to come back after all. 🤦♀️
