I like this place - interesting and good drinks, the best grilled cheese, perfectly baked goods, chill music, handsome furniture and plants (lots and lots of plants). I’ve been going here for years, as many local neighborhood folks seem to do. However, the main barista can come off grumpy. He often responds with curt answers to innocuous questions; and after today’s rude interaction, I just don’t feel like coming back…

I come for my morning coffee whenever I’m
in the area. Lots of reviews here mentioning cold service, and they’re not wrong. So that should tell you how good the coffee is, because I aint no sucker for punishment but I keep coming back. All that energy barista dan saves by not working his smile muscles, gets put into making the best microfoam (alternative and dairy milk) south of 280.

At this point the customer service is an expected part of my bittersweet...
