We wanted dessert after porridge, this was a pleasant surprise. There was still a nice selection even after 2pm on a Sunday. The pastries were not too sweet which is great. We even enjoyed our hot tea. The lemon tea is fun, like a warm lemonade. Service is nice. Will try savory items next visit.

These guys seem to just bake once in morning and that's it. No.more fresh baked items the rest of day ... they used to bake more into mid-afternoon for snack/dinner customers, but I guess they don't cater to those customers anymore
Parking: Just right for amount of business that occurs here

The pastries here are always consistently delicious. Your biggest fear isn't getting something mediocre. It's how to avoid overeating!

Wish they would open earlier than 10am. I am ready for breakfast before 10am! Recommend Hong Kong Milk Tea hot or iced.

Based on good reviews, my daughter ordered strawberry cake for my birthday. The cream has very strong strange chemical taste, everyone dislike it. Kid felt very sad because she paid for it and it was the worst cake. The cake base is ok, fruit is fresh.

Move over Paris Baguette and other bakeries, I'm only ordering fresh fruit cream cakes from Kee Wah from now on!! ??
My dad's 79th birthday was coming up and I knew my parents' preferences centered on having fresh fruit, light and airy cake, and low sweetness. I also didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a regular, non-customized cake. (Side rant: I don't know what happened in the last year or so, and yes I'm aware there are rising costs everywhere, but cakes have more than doubled at PB and other Asian bakeries without the quality getting significantly better or cake sizes matching price changes.)
I frequent Bitter+Sweet a lot and to pair with my coffee, I have bought a red bean or taro bun previously but never a cake from Kee Wah. Now I wish I tried them sooner! The fresh mango fruit cake was an absolute hit!! My dad, despite always turning down cake, devoured the whole thing quickly. My mom grabbed another slice shortly after we went home. Even today, she mentioned how light the cake was and how juicy the mango was. I have to admit I personally liked it a lot too, especially with a cup of tea to balance it out. I feel like fresh cream can be a tad sweet sometimes but they made it just right!
Lastly, the customer service was lovely. The lady in charge answered all of my various questions. (FYI they don't do 6-inch cakes.) She carefully took note of what I wanted written on the cake. The day-of pickup went seamlessly because she recognized me instantly. They provided 1 candle, 1 chocolate "happy birthday" mini plaque, and 1 cake slicer.
Anyways, I'm writing this review because they deserve it with how much my mom complimented the cake today but I'm also hoping no one reads it so I can keep this hidden gem myself ?

I was able to order their cakes online and pick them up without any issues or particular challenges. Overall a great experience. The fruitcake tasted fresh and delicious. They also have some nice selections in the store, their bread is very good.

Tried their new lychee rose cake and it has very strong lychee flavor. Rose flavor is less comparies to lychee. Don't buy the fresh mango cake in winter because it is not a good season for mango.

Ordered some animal cookies from Keewah thinking they would be a nice holiday gift for friends. We ordered 8 packs of animal cookies, 3 of them were crushed, most were panda shaped, while the penguin ones looked pretty good. Also ordered a coffee egg roll. It seems to be relatively fragile, and it didn’t even break. The shattered panda cookies prove that it has nothing to do with the delivery service, but rather why the bakery would send broken cookies to customers? We had high hopes and loved Keewah's Bakery, but were very disappointed with our experience today.
Place looks super rundown these days. Selection is extremely limited and the prices are around $5 a bun/pastry. Still a nice spot for cakes. Ended up only getting some egg tarts and although they were good, I just wished it was a bit warmer. Maybe a nice spot to grab a quick snack if you're around the area.
