The food is good but service is horrible. We stayed at the Juniper Hotel where the restaurant is located for 4 nights. Breakfast was included with hotel rate. The first morning we were there, 2 tables walked out because they had waited over 30 min for their food and there were only 4 tables of people there. We got our food, but waited a long time for our bill. We had dinner there with 10 guests. We waited so long for our food!!! The last person was served after all of us were done eating. We were the only people in the restaurant. One persons food was served burned and they didn't take it back, just eventually took it off the bill. It's too bad service is so bad because the food is good. They need to hire more employees. The hotel was full hut restaurant was empty, people must know they gave bad service.
The chicken wings were dry and over cooked. The salmon was very good. Breakfast order was served but wrong dish, food was overly salty. The noise level was extraordinarily obnoxiously loud. So loud we could barely here each other at the same table as well as hear the servers. The acoustics in the restaurant are very bad and magnify the volume of noise.
Food was really good. We tried the steak and taco sampler it was perfectly done and the the presentation of steak was great. Service was impeccable.
The staff (Heather and Matthew) were friendly, attentive, and made some very delicious drinks. The chef personally brought our steaks out to us, Top notch. I would Definitely bring my clients, business associates, and family here for dinner and drinks.
We had breakfast at this place when we stayed at the Juniper Hotel. Ordered Egg white Scramble, Juniper Omelette and coffee. Coffee was smooth and strong, not watered down at all. Food was just average, nothing stood out. Service was lukewarm, ambience was ok. After our food was served, nobody asked us if there’s anything else we need/require. We had to call the attendant’s attention to ask for water and more coffee, considering there were only 2 tables (including ours). Free parking.

A memorably bad breakfast with even worst service. Dennys and IHOP may be gourmet compared to whatever I ate here.

This place runs hot and cold. The best time is in the morning because that is when Jeannie works. All other times, I have consistently had my food dropped off at the table and was promptly forgotten about.Jeannie made breakfasts a 5 star... all other visits were 3 star.

1. Great staff and service2. Great but expensive cocktails3. Mediocre, over priced food4. Short main course menu. Out of two of the choices when they opened. Told of this after we had ordered these items.
Cold places cold food, I have been to restaurants that have offered considerably better food, knowing how to serve your meal so the outcome is a much much better rating than what I gave your business. No bueno
I went there for Breakfast: very limited options, much higher prices than other restaurants, even high class ones. food was good, but not what you'd expect for that price!

Fantastic food, drinks, and excellent service. My filet was amazing cut with fork. The pork was mouth watering.
We stayed at the adjacent Junniper hotel, but I would come here for breakfast even if I was not staying. Breakfast was a definite highlight. We had huevos rancheros and vickery's toast. Both great tasting and beautiful dishes. The vickery's toast being simple photo-worthy. Sure, its $40 for breakfast [all-in], but worth the splurge.
EXPENSIVE! A standard cup of coffee is $5.50! The outdoor dinning is 50 yards from an 8 lane road. Not the most relaxing or enjoying outdoor spot. Avocado Toast was decent.
We got into the bar around 8.00om they was out of most the food, we didn't order any food just drinks, the bar man was very nice and super friendly on the friday night, the lady who was the bar manager I think, was trying to tell the guy how to lock up, but he told us he had worked at the bar a long time, and had two jobs.before she came to visit the bar, felt sorry for the guy, she was trying to make him feel like he didn't know what he was doing so sad to do it in front on customers .The atmosphere changed when she came round.we left .Bar guy was awesome
I’m a Chico Resident and for the first time in 10 years living here I decided to eat at park view with a friend from out of state. The first thing I noticed was all the signs about wearing a mask and calling people “Karens” for not following the rules. Definitely not something to appealing to the eye. We sat, ordered and my friend got a big hair on her drink. So, maybe instead on focusing too much on calling people names, you should concentrate your efforts on making people feel welcomed and been sure your bar and drinks are cleaned from human hair.
The pozole soup was amazing and service was great.
