Ridge Vineyards is a fabulous place to be in to enjoy exotic wines. We were greeted and conducted by Chelsea. She is a very effective communicator. Well versed with her profession. Very courteous and a great orator.
As a longtime member of Ridge’s ATP wine club, my favorite benefit is the tastings that I can book at my leisure. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the hosts are knowledgeable about the wines, and of course, the wines are stellar. Their Lytton Estates rose is one of my favorites every year. It’s a crisp, dry rose that is so easy to drink. There are also now some small bites available for purchase, which is a pleasant new addition. I love bringing friends here to share my favorite wines and the best view of the South Bay.
Great location with amazing views and fantastic wines. Highly recommended!
Beautiful vineyard. Fine and wide choice of wines.
Friendly staff. Appropriate advice about their products
They were nice to accommodate us when our reservation was the following day. The lady who did the tasting was very nice. Food is limited. Had to put it away because of bees. Wines were very nice. Great views.
Very rude and unfriendly staff. I do not recommend this place overall, overpriced and overrated.
Great experience with breathtaking views
Finally able to visit this winery and it didn’t disappoint! Russel was our host and he was very kind. All the wines were delicious. He was even nice enough to only charge us one $40 tasting fee for 3 generous tastes of the 2016 montebello cab. So good! Also can’t beat the view. We will be back.
Great views, great service, and great wine. Nick was excellent and was a huge factor in us joining the club yesterday. Looking forward to our visit to Lytton Springs tomorrow!
First time visiting. The wines are delicious and everyone we encountered was down to earth & chill. It was really hot the day we came so all the tastings were inside, but we were able to walk around and enjoy the views all to ourselves.
Basic tasting was $30/person and they offer cheese & other snacks you can purchase a la carte. They also have a $40 single pour of their Monte Bello Library wine, which was outstanding.
The drive up the mountain is pretty twisty-turny but worth it!

Fantastic Winery, probably the best in the area. Splurge and go for the Monte Bello library wine. Also huge shout out to Jules who is so friendly!
First time tasting here and I immediately felt like I was a part of the family. The staff are very approachable and make wine tasting an enjoyable experience no matter your familiarity with wine. We were greeted by Josh and our wine concierge was Nick. Felt like I was having wine in my friends' backyard. The wine itself, is delicious. Such a wide variety, fit for every pallette. We've been to other wine clubs in Sonoma and they're missing the character Ridge has. If you want wine down with your loved ones in a relaxed environment, this is the place.
One of the best wineries in California.Montebello is one of the world's top wines.
Love the views & atmosphere
