The food is very instagrammable, but the omurice isn't using short grained sticky rice for some reason and the loco moco had a bit stronger of a beefy flavor than I would have liked. Millionaire's bacon was good, but not $13+ good for two slices. The times I went were Friday lunch and early morning weekend breakfast, and both times I was seated quite promptly, though I know the place can get very packed during late mornings on weekends.
Food was good but service left a sour taste. Friend and I both ordered the chicken croffle with a side of bacon. The server asked how we wanted our eggs so we thought it came included. After the meal found out the eggs were extra and to top it off the gratuity was already included since we had a larger group. Nobody mentioned the word egg so not sure how that mistake happened (twice). Didn't get a refund and instead were told to inform the server if there was a problem b4...
This place is always busy so we decided to try it. They don’t take reservations but our wait was only about 25 minutes. The service was good, but items came out at weird times (e.g. coffee arrived several minutes after food but was ordered at the same time). The food itself was fantastic and the presentation was top notch. There is a slightly rushed feel, so not the place I’d choose for ambiance or an intimate brunch. The millionaire’s bacon, while very good, I do not think...
