I love Yoshinoya and this is the lone surviving Yoshinoya in the Bay Area after the one in Santa Clara closed. I can’t give it anything less than 5 as I don’t want it to close down.
This is one of the only reviews I will write. I have been a long time customer here for years. The food is consistent! Not much else to say.No other restaurant beat this, it is a classic.

So ummm...I just came back from Tokyo, Japan and went to this Yoshinoya in the Bay Area and it just does not compare to the one in Japan. I'm spoiled now. I was missing Japan and had to come here and try it. The food was average but decently priced for what you get in America. Got their combo XL and you get their beef and chicken combo with steamed veggies. The chicken was good but was not grilled or crispy(no skin) and just drenched with sauce. The beef was fattier or chewier....read full review
