Nice food and cozy atmosphere. They had limited Vegetarian options. We ordered pasta and that was amazing. Quite a few people were dancing and atmosphere was nice

I’m sadden by my experience here. Me and my friend were talking about coming to this restaurant for a couple of weeks now. We heard great reviews about Blue Pheasant and we wanted to check out this place for ourselves. When the bartender asked for my friends drivers license, he said that he believed it was fake and that she should bring her passport to prove that she is over 21. We leave and make our way back to her house so she can bring her passport. When we came back 30 minutes later, we were accepted inside and they gave us a table. However, the manager said we needed to leave because he did not believe my friend was over 21 despite her passport being accepted by the bouncer and other workers in this establishment. We understand that this restaurant caters to an older crowd but we never in our lives been kicked out for our drivers license looking fake despite us being almost 30 years old. We have always been accepted inside whenever we have been ID’d
I’m really disappointed about my experience here. I’ve never been here before and I’ve been telling a friend of mine I want to check it out because it looks so fun and lovely. When we first walked in, everything was fine until we sat at the bar. One of the bartenders asked for my ID and for some reason he didn’t believe that it was valid. He told me to bring a passport and if the bouncer accepted it then I would be allowed in. I said sure, I will come back with my passport. I drove home with my friend to grab my passport and brought it back to this location. The manager and bartender accepted me and we were able to find a table. We began talking to this lovely woman and were starting to have a good time. Then all of a sudden the same manager who let us in came back and said they do not accept the form of identification I had…which they literally requested me to bring. I was so excited to check out this place, it’s been on my bucket list. I’m very flattered that they think I’m under 21, but realistically I do not look 20 nor 19. This whole experience made me very sad, I did not expect this to happen. It looked so fun and the reviews were so good! I truly wish I had a better experience for my first time there :(

We were at the bar/dancefloor area for drinks, and it was awesome. The decor is unassuming, but everything else is top notch. Our server was friendly, our drinks were very good, the music was danceable but not too loud, and there was a friendly and accepting atmosphere among the patrons. We'll be back, next time bringing our dance shoes.
