Wow Tea Drink is a tea-forward boba spot, considered by some as the best milk tea place in the Bay area. It is a good alternative to similar shops like Molly Tea or MoonTea, often described as much better, more consistent, and with better parking and fewer crowds. The interior is clean, with a very white and relaxing design, spacious with a good number of tables, bar stools, and outside seating.
The menu features a variety of teas where you can't go wrong. Popular milk tea selections include the Jasmine Milk Tea, White Peach Oolong Milk Tea, Qilan Oolong Milk Tea, Lapsang Souchong Black Milk Tea, Dragon Well milk tea, and Gardenia Milk Tea. The Lapsang Souchong is noted for its earthy, smoky, and woody flavor, while the Qilan Oolong is pleasantly nutty and roasted. Fruit teas are also loved, with the White Peach Guan Yin Lemon Tea being refreshing and not too sour, with no artificial taste. Drinks can be customized for light sweetness. Descriptions are accurate and in both Chinese and English.
The shop also sells some snacks like french fries, though the popcorn chicken is not available. Ordering is convenient via Snackpass for quick pickup or on a self-order kiosk, and staff will keep drinks cold in the fridge. Parking is available to the right of the shop, though spaces can be hectic and small. The ambiance is clean and relaxing, with nice and helpful staff.
