Hiyori Sushi restaurant is a hidden gem in Cypress, CA. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and tidy, and the staff is very friendly. I tried the Medium Live Sashimi set, and I was extremely satisfied with the numerous side dishes that came with the sashimi. I definitely have to try Tuna special next time

I went once before and had a sushi roll, and I thought the taste and appearance were good, so I went again and submitted a review, but I don't know if the owner or the chef had changed, but the moment I got home and opened the package and tried to eat it, I was completely disappointed. I've eaten so many sushi rolls, but I was so surprised that I've never seen a sushi roll made in such a mess like this one. When I thought that there were rolls in this world made so dirty, I didn't even eat them and just threw them away. I feel like it was made and released without much sincerity, so I won't go back again.

I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant, which I haven't seen in a long time. The quality is excellent, with clean and neat surroundings, and generous quantity is generous as well. Sake price is attractive too.

they're open pretty late, really fresh and well made sushi... their spicy mayo is good, i ordered the philadelphia roll and salmon sake. decent price too. clean hygienic utensils, huge water bottle that’s nice and cold served in a metal cup. comes with a miso soup 5/5 will be coming back !
For my first time, I thought I'd go simple, California roll and tuna roll. Both were cold rice, transparent cumcumber, tuna discolored. Most likely made earlier or yesterday. Worst part, no Wasabi paste, we all know it's not real anyways. Serving size would have been worth the price, if it was fresh. Was I stereotyped? Lost a first time customer that could a been a repeat customer SMHBTW I haven't posted a bad review in more than 10 years, that's how disappointed I was.
