Another great place to get banh mi! The bread here is different from other places. It is soft and does not hurt your mouth when you bite into it. I got the combination banh mi and thought it was great. Wonderful flavor, good amount of meat and veggies, and good size to keep me full throughout the day. I also tried the shrimp spring rolls and thought they were huge! Came with fresh veggies, lettuce, carrot, vermicelli, and shrimp. The vermicelli with grilled pork was good but portion was a little small (can't really complain though because it was around $7). Pate chaud was also good. The black coffee was strong which was what I needed. Overall, really great price, fresh ingredients and tasty food, super friendly staff, and they open early (5am)!

It was whatever. I had banh mi sandwich and they were ok. Also tried the spring rolls and I have definitely had better. I usually go to bite me for banh mi sandwiches and always look for something more authentic. I guess will stick to my usual place for now.

I came in because it's close to me and I love bahn mi. I ordered grilled pork without jalapeño; the baguette was soft, without the usual crispy/flaky outside. The pork was delicious, tender, and flavorful, but there was too much meat in ratio to the veggies. Also, I had to pick off the jalapeño (though I didn't get any seeds). The sandwich cost about $7 (reasonable, especially since the meat was so good). Worth trying.

The combination option was good but the grilled pork was just ok. It wasn't the best grilled pork banh mi I've tried. Was having a little more expectation but it was average good. The bread was different than a lot of other banh mi places I've tried, it was soft and good though. Iced Milk coffee was good, pretty strong as what expected from Vietnamese coffee.

Was feeling for banh mi and some refreshing strong coffee this morning, so I decided to check out Banh Mi Cypress. Upon entry I was pleasantly greeted. The place is well kept and clean, with an easy to read menu. I was picking up for myself and work staff. Decided on 2 chicken and 3 pork banh mi sandwiches. Couldn't stop there. Those pastries looked delicious. My eyes won, so I asked for them. The lady at the front mentioned that she just took a batch out of the oven and had all flavors. Couldn't decide on which, so I said give me one of each. Let's not forget some Vietnamese iced coffee. Give me 2 and I am set for my day. All in all, the food is tasteful and the staff is friendly. A good spot for a delicious meal.

I dunno about their other sandwiches but I had one of the BBQ pork banh mi and was slightly disappointed as there wasn't much flavor to it and it felt a bit soggy. For the price ($7) I was hoping for a bit more.

Such a great little shop! My husband got a combination banh mi but sub'd out the cartilage meat for something else. I had the grilled pork banh mi. We also had some pork spring rolls and a pate chaud AND iced coffee. Wow. All very good and fresh!

EAT HERE! Spotted this place after a visit to Target, and decided to come back the next day. Ordered a pork sandwich was SOOO GOOD and tasted fresh! The bread was not too hard and not too soft. I felt like Goldilocks enjoying this because it was just right! :) I will be back!

It's so nice to have an authentic Vietnamese sandwich shop in Cypress. I recently found out they serve more than just sandwiches. I called Banh Mi Cypress last week to placed an order of sandwiches, spring rolls, and pate chaud to serve at a neighborhood party. Tiana, the owner, was so pleasant to talk to over the phone. She helped me with the menu and the appropriate quantity to order for my party. On the day of the party, food was prepared fresh and ready at the pick up time. Boy, the food was a hit with my neighbors. The sandwiches were tasty. Bread was so fresh. Pate chaud was a party favorite. It was crispy and flaky. Spring rolls were fresh and moist. Everyone really enjoyed the food. In addition to their everyday regular menu, Tiana told me they also do party trays of egg rolls, fried rice, and glass noodles too. I highly recommend Banh Mi Cypress for their excellent food and customer service. I can't wait to work with Tiana on my next party.
