Banh Mi Cypress

Another great place to get banh mi! The bread here is different from other places. It is soft and does not hurt your mouth when you bite into it. I got the combination banh mi and thought it was great. Wonderful flavor, good amount of meat and veggies, and good size to keep me full throughout the day. I came in because it's close to me and I love bahn mi. I ordered grilled pork without jalapeño; the baguette was soft, without the usual crispy/flaky outside. The pork was delicious, tender, and flavorful, but there was too much meat in ratio to the veggies. Also, I had to pick off the jalapeño (though I didn't get any seeds). The sandwich cost about $7 (reasonable, especially since the meat was so good). Worth trying.
