Beef short rib (Kalbi) was def one of the best we had. When I ordered they said about 25-30 min, but then they called my name after 5-10 minutes (thank you!). Appreciate services where they give you an estimate time and beats it.
When I went in, it gave me Kim’s Convenience vibes, don’t hate meeee, but it was nice! Nostalgic and lovely. They had Korean snacks, kimchi and usual convenient store goodies.
Super close to bart so check them out.
Not a collab.

Despite its name, this is not only a grocery store but mainly a Korean food take out restaurant dishing out ample and delicious Korean grilled chicken, pork, beef, and other delicacies. The place gets quite busy if you drop in without placing a phone order ahead of time.
My go-to place in SF every time I visit. Can't remember the last time I reviewed, must've been about 7 or 8 years ago. It's gotten way more notice since then but still going strong and tastes great. I always get more than I can eat because I'll finish it eventually. Thanks for the meal!
The grocery store is more deli take out than a grocery store. But that’s a good thing as the food is excellent and outstanding. Of course we ordered the beef ribs with chopchae for $24. But they give you enough for two persons. The ribs are extremely tender and has a great flavor, and the chopchae is well balanced and very good. It comes with a small container of kimchi of course and everything is made to order. You can call in an order as well which I’d recommend as the wait can be up to 30 minutes (we waited for 15) depending on how busy it is.
This is my new favorite place for Korean food. I got the kalbi, which comes with white rice, japchae, and kimchi. It's easily the best kalbi plate I've ever had - the meat is so tender and delicious. The portions are generous, I wound up saving half of it to eat the next day. A week later, I ordered the bibimbap, which was equally as good - the balance of ingredients was well-done, nothing overpowered anything else. My only qualm was that there wasn't as much meat as I'd hoped, so I'll get the extra side of meat next time. I also tried the potstickers. Normally I avoid ordering those at restaurants because a lot of places are just reheating frozen grocery store potstickers and overcharging for them. However, the potstickers from here were so fresh and juicy, they were absolutely worth the price I paid. I'm definitely going to be ordering from here often.
Incredibly authentic Korean food that tastes just like home cooking. Every bite feels comforting. And unlike most spots in SF, it won’t drain your wallet - amazing quality for such a great price!
Honestly the food is good, galbi is pretty solid but the service alone is not worth it for me to become a returning customer. I would like to echo exactly what other reviews here have said, the owner (guy who works the counter) is extremely rude and condescending, totally unapproachable and it just left a really bad taste in my mouth to the point where I feel the need to post this. Normally I am OK with rude service at restaurants as I am someone from Hong Kong and am used to very bad service, but this owner really takes the cake here in terms of how unwelcoming he will make you feel, I think he has a lot of repressed anger and is taking it out on the customers. Just wanted to warn you all in case you’re already having a bad day because this owner will definitely make it worse…good luck!
I will express how disappointed and disrespectful this person how I was pushed outside of the store just because I was not aware about the operation timing, they were about to open in 8 min Common Sense the door was already open clearly no sign that it was close just yet to be open, I am a human being and I felt as alI was a random dog that went inside was pushed out of the business just because it’s unknown yes, it did played a lot on my dignity, I did appreciate this place before but now I will make sure my friends and my community don’t ever go back there to support this place to be miss treated for their protection I won’t allow that to happen. I hope whoever reads this be mindful about his behavior. You are a human being very valuable and I will make sure to take it further will report this behavior to the right authorities City of Daly City, I am a community advocate and this is unacceptable, I feel very sorry for the workers 🙏🏻 God bless this grocery shopping we need better humans. I hope he does not harass more people the way he did to me, he could have said “we are sorry, yet we haven’t yet open the store could you please wait 9 min we are about to open” after I left I said I will never come back and he said a careless “THANK YOU”
All these years in business you think they learned to work under pressure?!
Owners are extremely rude and disrespectful!
Hella good. If you don’t want to drive to San Jose for Gen and want a good Korean bbq fixing this is the spot

This is a really great small business that has been around for a long time. Great food and convenient pick up. They were also very gracious to us when we got the order wrong for a party when it was totally our fault.
Neighborhood fav! The kimchi is hella good here too
if you pay me money i never eat here no good food
We heard a lot about this place & brought lunch to try one day. We felt it was okay. It wasn't the best we had.
Get the short ribs with a extra side of kimchi!! Parking can be difficult, but it's worth waiting for a spot to open up.
