“Great place to watch a game and grab a cheesesteak. Food is made to order and is delicious. I had a South Philly with sweet and spicy peppers. It was fire! I wasn't even that hungry and I was going to split half with my gf, but somehow ended up eating the whole thing. Definitely recommend going to this place if you want to get full at a great price. Plus the owners are dope! Tell them Jason sent you!“

“I’ve been frequenting Richmond Republic since the week it opened and I’m not sure I’d live here if it didn’t exist. There’s a great rotating beer selection and the food is delicious. I especially like the burgers and salads, and the fries and tots are cooked to perfection. I love all the bartenders, especially the Tuesday crew. Make sure to get an Underberg before heading home!“

“I've now been to Deli Lama about four times and have had a great experience every time. It's in a random part of town but usually there's parking nearby even though some of the spots might not look legit because of construction but regardless, the food is tops and it's a great value too. I've never made it early enough to get breakfast options (and I love breakfast burritos, so I wanna do that some time) but their sandwiches are really solid. I got the TPA most recently on Dutch crunch and it's filling and a great deal! Definitely wanna try more different options but will just have to get up earlier!“

“Went a little before the dinner rush. My group is from out of town and struggled with deciding what to order but the person who took our order was extremely patient and friendly. We ended up getting an original cheesesteak and a GMO cheesesteak. The GMO was my fav. I’ll definitely come here again.“

“Great no frills steak house in the neighborhood.Very simple but to the point menu.Asked for a very rare steak, came through and was well seasoned and of good quality.2 steak meals with beer is $60, which is a great value!Interior design is humble and welcoming. Feels like you are transported to a movie set in the early 70s or 80s.My only notes: drafts appear to be misaligned. Beer tasted a little flat.Would definitely come here again, and recommend others to try it too.“

“The food is alright. I definitely think this is one of the better spots that are open late which is why I gave it 4/5 overall. The food is average quality. There's some seating and the restroom had a sign saying out of service when it wasn't.“

“Randomly stopped by on a weekday and the place is really small. Couple seats inside and some outdoor seating. Really solid meal if you want something quick to go. I haven't had my fair share of cheesesteaks other than the Costco frozen ones lol. Was an extra dollar to add all the toppings to make it great and I forgot to add the bell peppers. They also have sauces at the counter you can pour on since it can get repetitive with the simple ingredients. Not an outstanding sandwich but still delicious nonetheless and if you want something new, here ya go.“

“the cheese steaks are very well made and not super messy. I love the combinations available as well. the side options are awesome and are the alt options of chicken fingers, hot dogs, corn dogs etc. I live right next to another cheese steak place and I avoid it and go to Jays every time.“

“What can I say about this place. It’s tried and true, been around for years. The metro cheesesteak just combines that savory, cheesy, spicy flavor perfectly. Bun is soft and doesn’t fall apart. Tater-tots are hot and crispy. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I got a mushroom steak to go right before closing time, chairs & tables were already up so not sure how it is set up. It does look like it would be a tight fit if you were to eat at the restaurant, they do have a small bar with some beers on tap. Lots of Eagles & Phillies stuff set up looked kinda cool. Ate my cheesesteak about 20minutes later & it was still nice & warm, bread was really soft delicious cheesesteak it didn’t stand a chance it just melted away. Come try one it was great“

“I was pleasantly surprised for Super Bowl 58, I thought I was ordering pizza from a place closer to me, as the first time I ordered from this place was delivery and didn't pay attention to its location. Golden Gate Pizza has a delicious Lombardi pizza that my family has fallen in love with (No tomato sauce). I drove to pick up SB Sunday and got good service on a busy day. Strictly takeout, so there's no place to sit.“

“Visited here only a couple times but had positive experiences. I ordered recently from here for an authentic Philly cheesesteak and the gentleman gave me recommendations for the most popular cheeses as I've never really had a proper Philly cheesesteak. Got a side of tator tots to go along with it and both were fantastic. Cost is fair, the dine-in ambiance is clean and bright. Parking, however, can be a bit challenging in the area. As its near the corner of a busy intersection. Other than that great place to eat.“

“I haven't been to this location in awhile. The portion of my sandwich was good, but how it was made was not. The cheese seemed to have been all on one side of the roll. This made the Chicken, Spinach and Garlic together without the Cheese on it, dried.“

“OMG, didn't know the Great Steak still existed, had to stop by and try one of my faves while doing a little shopping at the Serramonte Center. They have a clean and inviting storefront in the food court, fast and friendly service, and a much larger menu than what you see online, including burgers, grilled sandwiches, and breakfast items (see my menu pics). My go-to sandwich here is the pastrami philly. Delicious, smoky pastrami smothered with melted cheese and grilled onions. And adding fresh lettuce and tomato for 35 cents extra is definitely worth it. Pricey, yes $15 for a small, but the 6-7 inch sub is already filling, so I'd say the large size is unnecessary. And because it's rare to find a Great Steak nowadays, I don't mind paying a little more for this yummy savory treat.“
