I've been going here for years and I believe this is the best Filipino restaurant around. You can't go wrong with anything you may order. The price although seems has gone up but the food is still delicious and the portion is big.
I was craving for some kare kare from Lucky Chances and a friend recommended this place to order from. Not impressed with Chibog. They didn’t give me alamang for kare kare. They said I would to pay extra $1.50. The oxtail was tough, sauce taste was mediocre. Bangus sisig was sour. Lucky Chances kare-kare is way better.
This restaurant is small but their food is so good. We usually order: crispy pata, Kare Kare, Miki bihon, omelet eggplant and meat, and mixed Sisig or Lechón kawali ,or Pork or chicken adobo, with garlic rice. All these items, that we ordered were reasonable. And they all tasted very good. The crispy pata and the lechón kawali was very crunchy and good for the heart. The sisig was a little too spicy for me but it was still very good. I would definitely go back and try something...
