Good portions. Consistent with dishes. Beef Short ribbs are my favorite.

My first time eating here and we ordered online their seafood tofu stew (haemul soon dooboo) and galbi. Galbi lunch portion is definitely only enough for 1, but highly recommended! I would say their tofu stew is decent (4/5).

Doesn’t taste great
Delicious Korean food! Some of the best beef dolsot I've ever had. Service was fast and friendly.

My family and I came here for lunch on Mother’s Day. We specifically chose 1 PM, which isn’t usually a peak hour, hoping to avoid the rush. Even though many customers had already left, no one came to clean up the tables. Despite several empty tables, they remained uncleared for a long time. We waited for over half an hour before we were finally seated.
After we sat down, the service was okay and the food was good, but the long wait was extremely frustrating. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and we don’t plan on coming back.

We craved Korean food and decided on Dae Jang Geum Tofu because it was close by. I am glad we did, the portions were hardy and flavorful.
Parking is a bit tricky on that block, but at least it's free!

Dae Jang Geum Tofu House is a great spot for Korean food. The food is always delicious and the service is great - attentive but not over-the-top. There are parking spots out front but also street parking and the Westlake parking lot nearby.

I’m always ordering seafood tofu soup whenever I’m at a Korean restaurant. This was so good & heart warming. It was very cold that night and this really warmed us up! Love all the side dishes as well, my favorite one is always the bean sprouts.

Been here a couple times, pretty good for what it is and one of the only few korean restaurants in the area. Sometimes it can get really packed so I recommend planning accordingly since parking is not the best in the area. Service and food is great, definitely will be back!

Friendly, attentive, and swift staff members. Ate here on a weekday evening right when it opened for dinner service. Food arrived quickly and is one of the better Korean restaurants in the area. Had a yummy selection of banchan and ordered the mushroom tofu soup + fish roe tofu soup. Both soup could’ve had more flavor though.. Plan to visit again to try other dishes.

I have been here twice and the staff were always attentive! The environment feels like very homey like grandmother’s house. They have purple rice for their meals and they are not salty!! Definitely recommending for a stable, comforting Korean meal :)
