Staff are friendly , food is good plus there's free iced tea and the prices are reasonable

Not the best location Servers don't really acknowledge you much. Went in, already servers looked annoyed. So we sat down, ordered on our phones, and now waited. When our order came, everything was skimped out on; - Beef Sizzle Plate: super thin pieces of meat + white rice + canned corn & peas 1/5 (+ one star because the price isn't too bad) - Milk Buns: comes with less than half of a mini sauce cup of condensed milk for the super oily dry buns. 2/5 stars - Beef & Miso pots: aren't flavorful. When asked for more flavorful broth, we got chili save and hot water added to our pot... um? 2/5 stars Overall, I wouldn't come back to this location because servers were not the friendliest, kinda rude, food isn't the best, and when you ask for something (aka order smt) it doesn't come out the way it's supposed to be, because they don't listen. Ambiance, not good. - Rude employees - Food not as flavorful as the other Tasty Pot locations Pro: - lots of seating

Let it be known I'm a real sucker for hotpot, even if it's not AYCE and Tastypot never fails to satisfy that craving. Conveniently located in Westlake Plaza right next to my gym, my friends and I find ourselves there quite often. The inside is very spacious with a back room that they don't ever seem to need since it doesn't get that busy; plenty of room in the establishment nonetheless. We went on a Friday evening and surprisingly there was no line; we were seated promptly. We ordered through their QR code (I'm a big fan since this definitely cuts the time down to have the wait staff take our order), and our food arrived really fast. However, I'll admit after going to the one in the Richmond, I do feel portions are slightly less here. We've been enough times to know what goes in each pot and my lamb pot was missing the pork blood cake, and the fish cake. Other than my items missing, the overall pot was amazing as always; I get it at mild spicy, or medium if the weather's especially cold and I want that kick. A great solid choice for a quick post-gym dinner on a cold day; we will definitely be back soon!

Decent Tasty Pot location in Daly City. Their food is like any other Tasty Pot, but parking here is a bit of a struggle. There's limited street parking in front of the restaurant, and I ended up parking in the Home Depot lot a few blocks down. Service is fine but you order everything off a QR code, so there's limited interaction. Food was also fine but nothing amazing.

I would NOT recommend getting their new item, the sizzling pot. We're a regular at tasty pot, service is good, and we usually get the same dishes each time. But we saw they had a new item, the sizzling pot dish. My bf gave it a try and thought it was mid. FYI the meat is raw when it's first on the sizzler which is fine but it should be cooked after a while since it's still hot. However, I think the meat was still kind of uncooked or something because my bf got food poisoning from it and had a huge upset stomach a few hours later and even threw up (a lot, it was gross). So based off of our experience (mostly my bf's) I would NOT recommend the sizzling pot but the other items are ok for the most part.

I will always reserve 5* for taiwanese hot pot if the service is good, and the service at this location is comfy, fast, and efficient! I will leave a note though that communication will PROBABLY be easier if you know how to speak Chinese. The lamb hot pot stood up to the tried and true other chains in the area and was delicious. Special Favorite inside the hot pot was the mushroom!! I've never tried the sizzling rice pot but as a first time, this was actually super flavorful and the beef really tender! I'd definitely come back to try the rice, it's in a great area!

Beef Hot Soup very flavorful. Delicious! Very enjoyable!. We also had Sizzling beef plate with pepper sauce. It was definitely worth it. Atmosphere was very nice. Service was excellent, very efficient.

The food here was amazing. Came with my sister and my brother in law. We shared only the seafood hot soup and beef sizzling plate and it was MORE than enough. And it was really good! The sizzle on the beef was so satisfying and the mix of it was even more satisfying! We were seated immediately! The waitress helped super much! They attended to us quickly and efficiently. The place was neat and clean. One of the bathroom stalls weren't working in the women's bathroom.

This is always a specific craving like when you want hot pot but don't want the hassle of having to constantly be cooking. The restaurant is pretty spacious and you usually get seated quickly even on the weekends. After you order your dishes on the phone, it comes out pretty fast and they give you all the drinks and sides almost back to back. My family really likes the a-cha tea drinks they have. I personally like the sweet milk with grass jelly and others we get are the Thai milk tea and mango green tea. Curry Flavor Hot Soup - My go to order every time. It has the perfect amount of heat, curry flavor and mild spice that I like. It also has a surprising amount of stuff in it: lots of meat, 5 - 6 fish balls and different vegetables that all soak up the soup really well. Lamb Hot Soup - A good meat flavor in the soup and it has additional things like seafood and rice cake which differs from the other one. The last few times we ordered this one, it did have less meat and ingredients than other ones we ordered though. A solid option if you want a quick hearty lunch that doesn't require cooking like traditional hot pot!

I got the thai spicy broth and it was really good! The only thing was the shrimp was a little bit mushy and the beef was over cooked. The broth was very tasty and I liked all of the other toppings included in the dish. I also really liked the tea that came with the meal, but they only gave 1 cup per order and refills were $2 each.

Ordered the curry pot and asked for medium spice but it tastes like nothing, watered down.

5/5 would return again The pot comes with free sweeten iced green tea that is DELICIOUS. Black tea is the other option. You get to pick. The pot itself is an endless. Kept eating until there's no broth and I found even more beef and vegetables even at the bottom of the pot. The servers checked up on me and my friend to make sure that everything is okay. They refilled our broth. The sauce they have on every table is so good with the beef. Their boba and snacks menu looked so good. Unfortunately I didn't get any since the pot itself was very fulfilling.

I love hot pot and soups, so this is a good option when I'm too lazy to bust out my burner and prep stuff. I always get a spicy one, so sometimes I get the #9, other times I get the 11. Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup. Both have a decent amount of ingredients. I love fish balls with roe, so I always add that to my order. Typically it's the normal balls, but for some reason, I got the fried ones this time. I prefer the normal ones, but these still fulfilled that craving. It's the first time this has happened, so I won't knock them off for that. The hubby always gets #10. It's normally not enough food for him, so we always make some rice at home and defrost some sliced beef to add. Good option for hotpot if you want your own pot.

I had a doordash order and ordered the beef hot soup and barely got meat in it. It was 2:30pm and the close @3pm. I just hope next time they put enough meat even when it's 30mins before they close. Overall still good food
