We were very disappointed with this place. We went for lunch and all three of us had their lunch boxes. The miso soup was really salty and with very little other flavor. The teriyaki salmon was just two small, really thin pieces of salmon. The teriyaki beef was made of a really cheap cut of meat that looked like it belonged in a gyro place, or a cheap cheesesteak. The tempura was passable, although not much different than you get with frozen tempura. In the bay area there are so many better Japanese restaurants around that it is not hard to find something better.

Loved this place for being what it is. If you want a hearty Japanese meal without breaking the bank, this is the place. Not a lot of fancy, ornate dishes, but the price also reflects that. Parking is easy which is a big plus. I really enjoyed the food, the service and the convenience.

I’ve been coming here a few times a year for several years and they’ve never disappointed. Today I tried a roll that had crispy salmon skin inside and it was one of the best things I’d ever eaten. Shoutout to Viviana (hopefully I spelled that correctly). Her smile and genuine personality made it extra enjoyable.

The Ashley roll a vegetarian option is just out of this world. We've come here so many times. today I I've decided to order something different for a change. Ordered their bento lunch box, salmon teriyaki, and it was also excellent.

Solid Japanese food. The spinach salad was very good. Flavors really work. I had the hamachi sashimi and really can’t go wrong with that. Portions are very good. bf had the pork bento and he said it was very tasty.

Not horrible or anything but majority of the rolls we got we did not like, but the service and workers were all nice and the atmosphere was nice. I wouldn’t come again only because the tuna had a very off taste to it (didnt get any sickness or anything of any sort from it but it didn’t taste very good). The roll we did like was the dragon roll and the giant roll and the orange crunch roll. The rolls that did not taste good were the crazy albacore and the white blossom roll. Very good service, not the best quality of fish in some rolls. Very nice seating dining area.

This place has been here for ages and I tried it for the first time not too long ago. The food was tasty - I've only tried their sushi rolls but everything I've tried has been solid so far. Service was efficient and parking is super easy (free garage nearby). It's a good spot if you're going to the movies or wanting a but after seeing one.
