Gracias best in town

They had exactly what I wanted, but there was a fly in the case, and the employee was using gloves to pick up food while touching random things. I left without purchasing and apologize for any inconvenience.

One of my favorite overlooked places. Its a great location and they are very consistent. Tasty donuts and breakfast sandwiches. I love their vietnamese iced coffee.

After completing the Lake Merced loop, we were craving donuts and unfortunately went to George's on West Portal based on the recent hype (don’t go there). Since it was lunch time, they only had donut holes and were a 15-minute ready-to-order wait. No thanks. Went to yelp to find a no frills donut shop nearby and thanks to great yelpers, we landed at Top of the Hill Cafe and were not disappointed. And by no frills, I mean that in the best way. There are things in life that are better enjoyed in the simplest form: burgers, bloody marys and yes, donuts. Right away, the pink striped boxes in the window were a clear sign that this shop knows their donuts. It's a small place, but very clean and with some seats if you want to sit and enjoy. Their donut selection is very good, there is something for everyone's taste. The donut that completely blew us away: THE CRUNCH DONUT. Wow. It is guaranteed the best most unforgettable donut we've had in a long time. Tastes like something served in an expensive place with 10x the markup. But hey, $2 for a donut here is the real deal. Cannot wait to get a dozen crunch donuts next time. Super impressed at this local gem. Support them!!

Today was my first time going in to this donut shop and as soon as I came in i was rushed straight off, even though there wasnt anyone behind me. The guy didn't even give me time to figure out what I wanted and I told him this is my first time in just ignored me.
Ok, about the food. I ordered a croissant sandwich with cheese and egg....which i did not like. If there is cheese on a sandwich, can it at least be cheddar, not american. The donuts did fair any better..ummmmm, the only good thing I have to say is, they weren't super sweet, other than that, they tasted a day old.
I won't be going back.
Service not friendly, food sub par and atmosphere ...none.

I went for a doughnut craving after 4pm. Doughnuts were still fresh!

Pretty great doughnuts. Usually I struggle with sweetness levels but these were rightly sugared. I tried the plain, sugar, cinnamon, chocolate glazed, blueberry, sugar glazed and maple bar donut.

Never liked doughnuts or sweets but they make a mean bear claw. But for the real review: Go for the Banh Mi, it's as good as Saigon Sandwiches without the headache of long lines or being in the Tenderloin if you're not from the city. Any option is well seasoned, not too salty, well balanced usage of vegetables and generous quantity of meat for the quality and price. Not much in the way of decor or aesthetics like most SEA owned places, but that's okay, I'm there for a sandwich anyways and leaving happy.

Not sure what went wrong. Pushy. Dropped the food in our lap. Really lacking on the cream cheese. Huh.
