I have been here many times mainly when I am craving for a doughnut or when I am in the area where I am in need of a quick bite. They have a wide selection of fresh doughnuts made daily, sandwiches, coffee, refrigerated drinks and much more. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I never had encountered an issue during any of my visits. You can dine in at one of their tables or simply purchase for takeout if you decide to. I have to say this place...

After completing the Lake Merced loop, we were craving donuts and unfortunately went to George's on West Portal based on the recent hype (don’t go there). Since it was lunch time, they only had donut holes and were a 15-minute ready-to-order wait. No thanks. Went to yelp to find a no frills donut shop nearby and thanks to great yelpers, we landed at Top of the Hill Cafe and were not disappointed. And by no frills, I mean that in the best way. Pretty great doughnuts. Usually I struggle with sweetness levels but these were rightly sugared. I tried the plain, sugar, cinnamon, chocolate glazed, blueberry, sugar glazed and maple bar donut.
