Some of the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. I think it's a Japanese chain, but the ramen is flavorful, nice chewy noodles, and there's free parking too. Try it.

We were craving ramen before seeing our movie (directly next door). We found Yokohama lekei Ramen and since we were running a bit late anyways, we decided to try it. We are very lucky we did! The spicy miso ramen was a very large portion, the broth was rich and tasty, and the pork cha-su was phenomenal. The tantanmen ramen was equally delicious, just don't be overzealous on adding spice. We asked for it hot as we are typically great with spice and wow was it spicy! Overall fantastic experience, and it's the perfect spot and location to catch before your movie!

I am happy to FINALLY have found a Japanese place that I'm willing to return to. I lived in Japan for 3 years...upon rreturning to murica 3 years ago I tried 5 different highly rated Japanese places. 4 sucked, one was 3 star starchy. Yokohama Iekei rates 4 stars due to great tasting ramen and agedashi yesterday. I had the Hokkaido miso ramen; wifey had black garlic ramen and we shared the agedashi. As others have complained, the ramen noodles were too al dente which is the reason for 4 stars. Taste was great although a touch spicy (which was fine but not authentic). The female server wasn't pleasant and rushed us since we sat down at 2:40 pm while the restaurant closed at 3 pm. Despite that, I'd for sure eat here again. And this is the ONLY Japanese place I have said that about since leaving Japan.

Came here last Sunday with friends. This little ramen shop has six tables inside and a few counter top seats. It's a very simple and basic place. Service is slow. The chair seats are not clean. I need to ask the staff to clean it. We ordered two black garlic ramen and two Tonkotsu and one karage. The food here was so so. The black garlic ramen broth is bland, can't taste anything. The chashu was so dry. The Tonkotsu broth was way too salty. The karage chicken is way over fried. The food quality is not worth the price. :(

Dang a dang. It's soup season and I'm a sucker for any kind of good broth. This place pleases and it was just great to be out there a few days ago and enjoy it. Please support this wonderful institution.

The fried chicken and squids were outstanding, they were not greasy and with the right amount of seasoning. I will be back to try more ramen dishes.

This place is definitely a hidden gem that's not so hidden. Great location if you're in Daly City watching a movie. Friendly service, small but mighty menu, great ambiance. I definitely recommend if you're in the area!

It’s authentically Japanese with friendly staff and delicious noodles-we’ve had the tonkatsu and classic and black garlic rsmen—two weeks in a row! Don’t bother with the other lousy places next door. This is the winner!
