Baskin-Robbins

Door dashed banana royal last night. Any time I DoorDash they put the hot fudge on top of the ice cream in the same dish and everything melts. This time I called ahead to nicely ask them to pack the hot fudge and ice cream separately.

I had to call 3x over a 15 min period with no answer. A young woman finally answers and I explain before I press send for DoorDash. She then asks for my complete order. I said it will be sent via DoorDash. She doesn’t understand. I explain again “I’m about to hit send on a DoorDash order. Plz do not put hot fudge on top of icecream so it isn’t melted.” “Oh… so how many scoops?” There was nothing else I could say and just submitted the DoorDash in hopes the girl there would know how to make the items on the menu.

Hot fudge was in different cup but still on top of ice cream which melted of course. She also did 1 small tiny kids scoop. Banana royale is 2 regular scoops. She obviously did this because she wasn’t happy with our conversation. I got my money back from DoorDash and plan to reach out to corporate.

We have been a regular for years, not sure if the owner was working or an employee last name on Memorial Day, but customer service was at record low. We came in and barely got greeted. We saw they were busy and were being considerate and patient. After about 4-5 minutes of silent waiting he came up and we asked for a sample. Shortly after another customer came in and he switched over real quick to him and cut us off. We walked out and went to a different ice cream shop on PCH which was happy to help. Close on a holiday if you’re going to treat your clients portly. We can simply go a diffemt BR location.

love the new remodeled store! they have more flavors now and the have the trendy Dubai ice cream bar!!!!

I guess they aren’t actually open within the hours they say. Employees wouldn’t let us in 30 minutes before close.

Great ice cream but, service is overzealous and rude especially a young man who needs some customer service lessons.
Hard to ruin ice cream, but they got close!!! ?

I bought a cake for around $50. And the box said it was Oreo ice cream with white cake.

However, we got chocolate mint ice cream in our cake. We still ate it. But for a $50 cake, we expect to eat what we paid for.

OOPS They did it again!!!Great cakes.Thank you.I have no words to describe the cake I ordered for my daughter's birthday and they delivered exactly how I want it.

This location still doesn't have tables. I have 2 preschoolers so my options are take ice cream home so it's melted, let them eat ice cream cones in the car so it's a huge mess, or eat on the sidewalk in the parking lot... which is unfortunately what we did 3 times in a row. I will be not be going back. There's a Baskin Robin's 1 city over that has tables and they have a larger selection.

It's hard to be in a bad mood in an ice cream shop to begin with , but the Baskin-Robbins in Dana Point always brightens my day. Fun warm staff, personalized service, smoothly run and incredibly fast, especially given the hospitality they give you.

I need to write this review as this was my second visit at this Baskin Robbins and I must say the customer service is awful. My first visit here seemed as the employees dreaded working there and their customer service was awful. Today I walked in and it was as if I was a ghost. The two employees that were working did not greet me at all and I had to walk up to the front counter to say hello to them. I barley received a hello, a very quiet hello. They both did not want to be there and it was very clear as more people came in and they did not greet a single person. They were both laughing at each other behind the counter but were very rude to all of us customers. Please close this Baskin Robins down and put in a better ice cream spot or just hire people who actually want to be there. What a horrible ice cream experience!
