Artichoke appetizer is a winner. So is the grilled salmon with mixed vegetables. The scallops in lobster sauce had good flavor but the sauce could have been thicker. The prime rib sandwich was the disappointment (not much flavor) and did meet the same quality as the seafood.
I'll start with location location location .. the view of Dana Point Harbor is spectacular from this locale. So makes ambiance nice. The decor appears a bit dated but that view, Alone a reason for a visit. The food overall is quite good. The calamari steak appetizer was yummy. My entree, a scallop linguini was overly saucy, soupy even. But the taste was good after shaking a it out a bit. The scallops were tender and not over cooked. The mud pie dessert was tasty. My all time favorite place to dine ever! Love the view, great service and great food. Could honestly not get any better than Cannons! Steak was great and they worked with me to meet my diet.😊ðŸ‘
