Stopped in for a quick beer and oysters. Tried the oysters from Virginia and Washington. Enjoyed the Sting Ray Oysters more. The Glasspar beer was refreshing and light.

We had high hopes for our experience but unfortunately it was not a good one. At night the bar top tables are over powered by the florescent lighting on the exterior porch. The food was undercooked. Sea bass when cooked correctly should be flaky and tender. Undercooked, I sent it back and it appeared that the chef just poured more gravy on it. Drinks from the bar were delayed. The reason I am even giving a 2 star is because I feel bad for the server. She was doing her best. Go to Jimmy’s next door!

We ate here for our anniversary. Ordered three appetizers, two entrees, four cocktails, two desserts and a coffee...came to about $300. I even said that the scallops meal was literally the best meal of my life. Everything was really very good. Yet, all we can talk about is how they charge $8 for bread! Bread, that has been included in meals everywhere, especially seafood restaurants. We couldn't get over how offensive that was. If there is a cost issue, add a dollar to all the menu items. I wouldn't blink an eye at paying $57 for scallops instead of $56 or whatever. But, psychologically, it's downright offensive to charge for bread in a nice place like this. Anyway, it left us with a bad taste and there is no shortage of nice seafood restaurants around that aren't charging for bread, so we'll go there. We actually didn’t even want any bread...it's just the principle of it.

We spent Christmas eve at Glasspar and it was wonderful. Very festive decorations for the holidays and the staff made the experience even better. The chef came out to greet us and told us about the nightly specials. We started with oyster shooters with vodka and micro Cilantro, which added a nice touch. Then some caviar with toast, egg, capers, onion and creme fraiche. For dinner we had hanger steak, spiny lobster, seared ahi and the homemade tomato soup. Everything was phenomenal! Can't wait to go back.

First of all I would give 5/5 for the vibe of the restaurant, and your bill comes out in an antique book with other guests’ messages which is very fun.

Now onto the food: sourdough bread with butter is amazing! Hot and fresh, and the butter goes well with it. Other than that we didn’t like anything else we ordered. The clam chowder is mainly potatoes and bacon with minimal chowder or seafood taste. It would be a great potato soup but unfortunately not what I’d call a clam chowder. Crab claws varied in freshness. We also got steamed clams, calamari, and seared tuna - they are okay but I would not order again.

Neat place with good food. Prices reflect the food quality. In a small shopping mall, but the restaurant itself was very nice esthetically.

Waste of money... they just don't know how to cook... every menu we ordered is horrible...

The salad was unimpressive. The scallops tasted sweet. The mushroom that came with it had an unplesant taste. The other dishes like the cod and octupus were underwhelming as well. We were the only people at 7:30 pm there on a Monday night.

It's an exceptional restaurant in all respects. Too bad it's a bit pricey for the average date night, but we enjoyed it for a special visit.

Great food and service, with the perfect ambience on the outside patio. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Tuna melt was fantastic!

I was double charged at Glasspar and never received the promised refund. They admitted the mistake and apologized when I called, but it’s been 10 days and no refund has been issued. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

I wouldn’t go back here again. Plenty of amazing seafood places in OC and this is not one of them. We had clam chowder (blah and disappointing), shrimp cocktail (just ok), cod was just ok, swordfish I took one bite and wanted to spit it out. It was undercooked and fishy. Very disappointing and I left hungry. Service was slow. Took 29 min to get a new beer. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.
