I’m a regular n I’ve been going since they opened. Great food n generally good service We eat at casual side as well as the restaurant side next door. My latest experience was DISAPPOINTING When I said we were dining in I was told to go next door as the casual side was “for take out”. My daughter n I felt we weren’t given an option but DIRECTED to go to Barria the restaurant portion n felt it was rude n poor customer service. When I complained to the female manger she said they encourage everyone to go next door. I understand that idea but we didn’t want to go there this time and the casual side was NOT BUSY. A suggestion, some information, okay but we were dismissed n told to go next door. I was stunned as we go almost weekly when here- we live up the hill one mile away. I hope the owners managers re train staff to politely instruct or suggest THE OPTION of dinning very casual or next door - less so. This is a new situation and I felt dismissed. Interestingly, the customer the manager waited on as I waited for TAKE OUT food, dinned in casual site at a table n was not told to go next door. Please be more welcoming

Just came back today after four years. Every time I come in. I have Oceanside Burrito. There’s surf and turf, and all their delicious tacos. Definitely recommend.

We eat at Lupe's a lot. We really love their food, but the customer service is so poor. We are a busy family of 6 and when I pick it up I asked for the cups of salsa and the girls will sit on their phones scrolling and tell the customer who just spent $140 at their establishment to fill up their own salsa cups. I just think it’s poor Customer service. Their delivery partners won't fill up the cups of salsa either, so we have to pick it up ourselves. They should really make it easier for people who are doing takeout especially if they have associates standing around

It used to be really good. Unfortunately too many food/order issues for a while now. Used to eat there 2-3 times per week. Today is going to be the last time for a while.
Edited from 1 Star to 3 star after speaking with a manager. Staff is really nice and I look forward to them ironing out some issues with incorrect orders.

Food was good, like very good. Only reason why I give 4 stars for service is because it's been a couple times now that they get my order wrong despite double checking with them. Pretty sure this is an issue at the register because when I ask for chicken only instead of say steak and shrimp I see on the little square terminal it says no shrimp and add grilled chicken. I asked if there was no steak as well and they nod yes despite it being wrong. Saved them though that the steak was still good 😋. Atmosphere was nice but a little loud. The bar side is a much more chill environment.

I have always loved getting burritos from here but for some reason, they’ve been changing recently. My favorite burrito is their California burrito but the last time I got one, it was more potatoes than meat. Like 3/4 of the burrito was fries. And for the price?? I’m sad to say but it’s basically a rip off at that point. I really love this place but I’m not about to spend about $18 again on a burrito that’s basically fries wrapped in a tortilla
