Family favorite! We love the stir fried green beans, Snow White chicken, and the honey walnut shrimp but everything we've had is good. The people are also super friendly.

Came last night for their new Dinner for Love package. It was a great meal and experience for my wife and I. It was an 8 course feast that could easily feed 3 people. It is a great value as well for $158 before tax and tip and includes a bottle of white wine. It includes fried won tons that my wife loved, sweet and sour soup with shrimp inside, xia long bao with a tasty sauce, duck wrapped by server in front of us, huge grilled scallops grilled in front of us by server, fillet mignon cubes grilled in front of us by server, and ice cream for dessert. Service was superb and the ambiance was very unique with their enhanced lighting and creative table gizmos. This experience was plenty good for special occasions but the price can easily be for a simple date night. I highly recommend this place. Great food, service, and value. Also great location on PCH that is a short walk to the beach.

Under new ownership and the food is currently outstanding. Open 7 days a week! They have slightly given the interior a new look. A nice setting at night with a new atmosphere, unlike any other in Dana Point.

We miss Shane! Have been coming since 1989 and since Shane has retired the service and food are not at all what they use to be. Still giving 4 stars as its been one of my favorites for so long, but they really need to have Shane critic and improve their business. And Christmas Eve was a total disaster! Always extremely busy but Shane was always prepared for it. I think they lost many customers that night. Love that they've added Mondays though. Now if they would just stay open all day instead of closing.

Service is excellent. We always order family style. That way everyone orders their favorite & the rest get to try something new. Go every time we are back at the beach.

We had read and heard that the restaurant had gone down hill. But we wanted to see for ourselves. We were greeted as we entered and the place was so nicely decorated for the lunar new year! The sizzling rice soup didn't disappoint. The moo shu chicken was prepared and served so nicely. Our other main dishes were really good. So happy we didn't listen to the negativity that we had read.

Have been going for over 20 years now and yesterday was our first time under new ownership. Service was really good, everyone was very friendly. I always get the same thing for the last 20 years. Hit tea, egg roll, soup, and Peking Dragon Pork. The tea was possibly even better than before. The flavor of the egg roll was good but I have to admit it was greasy. Soup was really good and the pork was just as amazing as always. Still the best Chinese food I've ever had and I'll be back for sure

I used to really like this place, but has really gone downhill. The last takeout order we made was so flavorless and bland, I thought I might've finally gotten COVID for the first time. The meat was gray, tasteless and not a single spice molecule to be found. It was the worst Chinese food I've had in my 38 years on this Earth. Sadly, we will not be back.

Authentic Chinese restaurant in Dana Point. The decor and lighting is perfect for date night, or a group outing. There's even a private dining room for a special event like a birthday or engagement dinner. The staff is super friendly too, and very attentive. Several different workers, not just our waitress, came to our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved that! Now to the food! There were so many dishes that I wanted to try! The sesame chicken was what I finally decided on, and it was so good! Slightly fried and perfectly sauced! I added a side of the pork fried rice and it was phenomenal! And at the end of the meal, you get a complimentary mini cup of Matcha ice cream to go with your fortune cookie. I really loved this place, and can't wait to go back to try everything else!

I've never written a Yelp review, but our Christmas Eve was ruined by a take-out disaster. Order for 5pm was finally ready at 7pm. Many people waiting for 1.5-2 hours. Husband missed most of the family gathering because when he finally arrived home at 7:30pm, we ate so fast because the little kids were tired, and even then, one had to leave the gift exchange to go to bed. We thought we were making it a simple Christmas Eve meal. Our friends have carried out for years every Christmas Eve so we felt safe in the decision. The food was poor quality, 2 items were missing and one we received was not ordered. Such a huge disappointment. Will never do again.

The best Chinese food ever! Always fresh and the egg rolls are addictive! Excellent service. I've been going there for over 20 years and never disappointed.

Wow. Went here for Christmas Eve dinner . Came early at 4pm. By 4:30 the place was packed . Service was amazing along with the food and atmosphere. Enjoyed the Wor Wonton Soup, Egg Roll, Peking Duck and the Peking Egg Foo Young . Everything was delicious. Would definitely go back

The restaurant appeared to purposefully or at least without thought overbook on what is always a busy holiday. Dozens of people were waiting around for over an hour for their reservation, it was super unprofessional.
