I ordered a non-fat mocha latte and received a watery coconut tasting hot something. I was the only one in there, so its not like they gave me someone else's order by accident. Sad.

It was one minute before the closing time ..we were at Starbucks having coffee, while my sugar went low I wanted to buy a cookie ..one more time it was ONE MINUTE BEFORE THE CLOSING TIME…barista said we r out of cookies)) there were bunch of cookies available )she said we r closed with such a customer- hating attitude (thanks god she didn’t scratch me ) that I felt she is pretty unhappy with her job or life or both.. whatever..such a ppl suppose not to work in Starbucks ….We love Starbucks .. but make sure you hire the right ones who also carry a lil bit human within their box.

I ordered ahead using the Starbucks app so I can only speak to the pick up experience.I was staying at the Waldorf Astoria and walked to this Starbucks location as there was a nice walking path from the resort to this plaza. I ordered an iced Venti espresso drink and it was more than enough caffeine to last me throughout the day and night. The ordering process via the app was seamless and my drink was ready when I arrived.This Starbucks is located in a plaza right off of the PCH Highway so there is plenty of parking. There are some tables and chairs both inside and outside for you to enjoy your drink.

Not sure why or how, but the cashier messed up my order 3 different ways; we ordered a hot venti Americano with some ice, a pesto sandwich, a grilled cheese, ham croissant, a donut, a white mocha, and a hazelnut latte. The cashier forgot to charge us for the sandwiches, so she called me over to pay for them. I understand that mistakes happen, so I just paid and collected my pastry items and 2 sandwiches. Then I was called to collect a drink, so I walk over and see that they gave me an iced americano. We go and ask for clarification and to change the order. I was a bit peeved considering two different mistakes, but then we get our americano and it was supposed to have ice in the drink itself along with sugar but we were just given an Americano with milk and a side cup of ice. The cashier was a red-haired lady; sorry ma'am, but I hope you're ok because that's the most mistakes I've ever had on a Starbucks order.

To this Starbucks, many times, and I've always had good experiences however, today a young man named Trent helped me out when I mistakenly put my order in at the Golden lantern Starbucks, and he happily assisted me after showing him my my order proof, and was so quick to make my drinks, and did so with a smile on his face. I could tell he really cared about his job and I'll be returning because of Trent! he made my day and I was very appreciative of his great customer service !

Despite me being a Starbucks customer every single day, sometimes buying up to 3-4 drinks a day - I have received incredibly terrible treatment from numerous Starbucks employees. BUT, there are others who are simply wonderful! An I must say, they truly are special kind people. A Starbucks in Monarch Bay Plaza I often visit, a barista named Meredith, knew very well my dog and I came in every day , same time, for a Peach Tea, yet when I went to get a refill after I finished my tea on this particular day - she questions me and the staff if I had purchased a tea that day or if my cup came from the trash!! I come here and TIP, EVERY DAY! I had ordered my Original tea only 15 mins earlier with her standing right behind the counter, at the time I smiled to her in a "Goodmorning!" Acknowledgment. Which leaves me to believe her intent was malicious and to humiliate me in front of her jr staff. :(I always give $1.00 instead of the .50 fee , as I greatly appreciate Starbucks, but I was made to feel less than, as well as a liar and thief .. I told her how she made me feel and she did nothing. She has treated me poorly since, often whispering to coworkers when I'm trying to enjoy my drink and work. I was greatly disappointed with my experience with Merideth, as being discriminated against is never right, nor does it feel okay when I spend over $500 a month ON STARBUCKS. This world can be very cold and it hurts to see humanity be cruel, especially where you are supposed to be welcomed without judgment. I typically love the vibe in here as many employees ARE NICE! . But I have had pretty bad experiences with at least 3 of the Senior workers here and it sucks... I get very anxious in the morning when having to come now. Though it is the closest to me so I have little choice.

The staff are morose and unhappy people. The coffee and food is what you get at any Starbucks store, but these people need some serious positive emotional energy and uplifting.

Seriously. No napkins there... insane. I go there and spend $25 on coffee and a few breakfast items and the LEAST they can do is provide napkins. Come on Starbucks.

Love employees here, every time I come in or go through the drive through they are always lovely and super helpful. I have a dairy allergy and they always make sure I have new options for me!
