The Point in Dana Point has a great location and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a casual bite. The staff was friendly and the service was decent. The food, however, was just okay — nothing particularly stood out. It’s a decent spot if you're in the area, but not something I’d go out of my way for.
We had the clam chowder, fish, tacos, fried pickles, and buffalo chicken sliders. When I say the food was incredible I’m not kidding. I stopped in here driving a PCH after a quick visit to Calgary and on our way back to the airport and couldn’t have been happier with our decision.
Definitely a bar feel a lot of regulars, great happy hour, and the drinks were incredible as well. Definitely do not step out on this place based on the exterior.

Nice place to go to see a football game or a sport game. It’s a sports bar and it also has ocean view and they have pretty good food and a lot of people go there so if you’re looking to be in a social environment, this is the place to go in Dana point.
