Spoke to manager already and don't need to continue here. Service and ambiance was not standard for this restaurant as we are frequently here. It is unfortunate that this servers whole section of clients were complaining about service loud enough to make it an unpleasant experience. Manager asked us to return and he will ensure a better experience. We will be back as we know that this instance is only indicative of the evening.
Bridges needs a remodel refresh, but it maintains as a quality establishment in Danville with great history. The tables could use some flair, such as candles or flowers. It felt like we were eating at a cafeteria with the plain wood tables and chairs. The food was good and service was great. Next time I go it will be on a nice evening where I can sit outside and it's a more lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, the dining room is so large that when it's not busy on a Sunday...
The Bridges hamburger was excellent. The sale that came with it had too muck oil on it so I didn't finish it but cutting the oil I probably would have eaten it all. Burger could have been a tiny bit warmer.....but the food overall was excellent.
