Our favorite Mexican restaurant!! The Ahi Aguachile (sashimi dish) was amazing, as was the Chicharron Tacos (pork belly). Service is fabulous and the people are fantastic.
We love this neighborhood gem, but on this visit, the service was quite slow and my daughter‘s food came out 30 minutes after all of the other entrées.  Unfortunately, we all ate cold meals because we were waiting for her meal to come out. Hopefully we will have better luck next time!

Cocina Hermanas is a casual Mexican restaurant with a cool ambiance, featuring a mix of wood and brick. The menu offers a good variety of options, including tasty food and fresh, flavorful chips and salsa. The ancho chile sauce on the Birria Enchiladas was a bit hotter than last time, good but a bit spicy. The service has been reported as excellent, with staff like Juana and Hazel providing attentive and friendly service. Diners have experienced wonderful meals, including the steak bowl, chicken taquito appetizer, tacos, enchiladas, chili rellenos, and fajitas. The churros, made to order, come out hot and fresh, especially when paired with vanilla ice cream. While the overall experience can be inconsistent, the dining experience has been delightful on many occasions, with a promise of returning.
