I've never had a good meal here, only outstanding! I'm blown away by the flavors and wholeness of every plate. The horchata ice cream unreal. Service is always wonderful, Gabriel is awesome!

We dined at Covina Hermanas last night and had a terrible experience regarding service and the food. I have a gluten intolerance. I ordered an item off the menu that says (GF) next to it- despite the description saying it is served with flour tortillas. Upon ordering, I advised the waitress of my food sensitivity and asked for corn tortillas. After two delicious tortillas into my meal, I realized they tasted way too good to be made of corn. I called the waitress over and she confirmed they were flour, not corn, despite her asking the kitchen for corn tortillas when putting my order in. The lighting in this restaurant is very dim or maybe I could have caught their error before eating them. Either way, we received terrible service with waters not being refilled and the table not being checked on. Now I’ll be sick for a few days because of their lack of accountability. I didn’t want to make a big stink of the error in front of my friends we were with- we just wanted to have a good evening- but that error is a big one and the waitress should have apologized and sent a manager over. Neither happened because the service was just bad.

My spouse and I decided to try the enchiladas at this restaurant, and to our disappointment, both plates seemed as if the filling had been overlooked. What arrived were essentially two tortillas clumsily folded and drowned in sauce. Regrettably, the overall taste resembled canned ingredients, and to exacerbate matters, we spent the entire night contending for access to the bathroom. As if that weren't enough, our beverages failed to impress – my wife found hers downright unpleasant, while mine was more of an ice-filled concoction than a proper drink. Despite my earnest desire to enjoy our dining experience, the hefty bill of over $100 for two lackluster drinks and two lackluster dinners, coupled with the unfortunate aftermath of food poisoning and a lost day of work, has unequivocally deterred us from ever returning to this establishment.

Have eaten at Cosina Hermanas maybe a dozen times. I always enjoyed their taco plates - a good variety of really good street food! The last 2 times there I ordered two versions of their pork belly. Gotta say, this is the absolute BEST Chicharron Ahumado I've ever had... the spices and technique make these dishes off the charts. I've become passionate over Chef Arturo's truly magnificent pork belly! I cannot recommend this enough!!Happy eating at Cocina Hermanas!

The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Our server was on top of it and the food came out quickly and tasted great. It was a good choice for a date night because it was lively but you could still have a conversation.

The food was just not good. The steak in my salad was tuff and extremely difficult to cut. My wife did not like the shrimp ceviche she ordered, and everything was lacking salt including the guacamole and chips

Loved the vibe of the place! Their interior is colorful, vibrant and cozy. Lots of comfortable seating space. We started with guacamole. The serving size is less and good for two persons.Ordered a pitcher of margarita. It was strong and spicy. Definitely recommend itAll vegetarian dishes are delicious. Tacos are small and good if you want a light snack. Also ordered one plate of Chile relleno and that was the best of all dishes. Their service is quite fast even on a busy weekend. Complimentary nachos and spicy salsa is irresistible. We ordered multiple rounds of both.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian optionsParking: Public parking on weekends might be difficult to findWheelchair accessibility: Ramp is available for wheelchairs

Prices were high and food was not very good. Most likely won't return. My daughter had been told to try this place so we went for her birthday. The short rib enchilada was supposed to be their best dish but I was disappointed by amount of filling and flavor of sauce. Sides of rice and beans were also sparse. Others in my party were also disappointed with their dishes.

This is the best Mexican food that I have experience this year. Chef Arturo Ponce and his amazing staff gave my wife the best birthday bunch that we could ever ask for. The guacamole was super fresh. The shrimp ceveche was amazing and the churros tasted just like the ones you by in México. The food is absolutely beautiful delicious and filling without making you you feel heavy. You really need to give the hidden treasure a chance!

The food was pretty good, although a little pricey for what it was. Drinks were a bit pricey too. Service was not the best and took a long time to get service. Over all I probably won't be going back.
