This place is an absolute joke! Ordered the lobster and tots. It's advertised as a 4 to 5 oz lobster tail. Was told it would take 5 minutes and it took nearly 20. No customers in line. When I finally received it, the box felt light. I opened it and what I received was smaller than a prawn! A sub 2-oz lobster tail cooked 10 minutes longer than it should have! I tried to remove it from the shell and it was just a piece of plastic! I told them that you advertise a 4 to 5 oz tail and that's what I want to receive. She said that's all they have that's all that they're given. AKA, That's how it is every time! How can you advertise a 4 to 5 oz tail and then serve something smaller than a pinky finger! And, way way overcooked! I returned it and got a refund. To think I even left a tip! What a sham! Bait and switch! False advertising! There is no way this company will ever stay in business!
If there's a Cousins Food Truck nearby, I'm there! My favorite is the Connecticut Roll, dripping in butter, no mayo is this version, thank you very much.
Nice people. Splurge-worthy food.
No regrets.
Go there every chance we get, absolutely love it!!
Forces you to buy a $5 drink if you want a $30 roll.
Update respopnse to owner comment, it was on doordash and I called to confirm it was wrong, and you guys couldnt change it at the time for whatever reason
That crazy online system, Angelica from food truck provide me huge of crazy(non reasonable) explanations regarding how works website & app, she call to she’s boss & he can’t explain why the customer can’t order main or Connecticut roll online!!! Stop use your fishing ads!!! Funny corp)
Excellent experience. Fresh, delicious lobster. I have no idea how they cook it so perfectly every time. Food is delicious and great customer service.
Grew up in Massachusetts, and probably spent 1/3rd of my childhood on Cape Cod. These guys have what is probably the best New England Clam Chowder I've found west of the Mississippi! Vivolo's in Pacific Grove and their garlic butter lid bread bowls is really good, and my unwavering favorite will always be Captain Parker's in Yarmouth, MA (no idea what magic they use), but these guys have my heart in the Bay Area! Love that they are growing and will be more and more accessible!
Be warned, and you probably won't be shocked, if you go the Lobster Roll route they aren't that big and they are pricy...but they are good.
Another overly hyped food truck. Ordered the lobster tacos, which come with three tiny kids sized tacos for $20. Total rip off. Mostly sauce and veg, few mini pieces cold lobster. Still not sure whether it was really lobster or not because the sauce took over everything.
It's not that it's not delicious, but compared to the lobster bisques I know, the taste of lobster or seafood is very weak.
Intuitively, if 100 is the standard, it feels like a lobster of about 20-30.
It's not bad, but $8 is worth it.
Order the lobster tots, it was really good but forgot to ask for no tomatoes.

This was 29 dollars
What an absolute joke
Great lobster and tater tots, location was convenient too
Great food, reasonable enough prices. Im a big fan of the Tacos and the Quesadillas. If you’re aiming to get a roll, go for the SF Special. Roll, Tots, and a drink
Let me preface this by saying I heard some good stuff about this place and was excited to try it, I love lobster and I'm not too picky about it, but this is hands down the worst lobster I have ever had. I'd rather eat the McLobster from McDonalds! Spent 57$ on two Maine rolls and a cup of clam chowder. It was the smallest and most bland lobster I've ever eaten, it surprised me because I didn't know lobster could be this disappointing, I tasted everything on the roll BUT the lobster(which is literally just mayo and the lemon I squirted on). Zero taste whatsoever. The roll was extremely small and is no longer than my hand, for 23$ that is ridiculous. Some pieces of the lobster were overcooked and made me feel like I was chewing on a tire. Clam chowder wasn't as bad, but definitely just tasted like something out of a can. Very grainy and not much flavor either. If I could give 0 stars I would, terrible for the price you pay. They should spend more money on improving the food instead of making their trucks look fancy. Unfortunate cause I was super excited to try this place! Total ripoff :(
Splurged on lobster today! This time grilled cheese, though we've had the rolls before, and we always love the tots! Follow Cousins Maine Lobster truck's schedule and check them out. Their app lets you order ahead!
