I need to start by saying that ever since MJ came to Danville, this is the only place we order sushi. My daughter + her friends go all the time. Her friends have even had events catered. That being said, her experience on Thursday night was appalling. she placed an online order like always. She arrived to pick it up + was given the wrong item ordered. It was something she has never ordered + does not like. She proceeded to explain that the item was wrong + asked how they would remedy it. The lady then told her multiple times + quite loudly that this was a 'you problem' + that she couldn't help her. She said the lady was scolding her like she was a child + people in the restaurant were staring. Then another lady came into the restaurant + also complained about getting the wrong items in her order. My daughter was both shocked + embarrassed at the treatment. The lady working at the register was rude + her customer service was nonexistent. It was an awful way to treat any customer.

some of the yummiest and most inexpensive, sushi and sashimi I have ever had. I’ve gone all the way to San Francisco for sushi and MJ‘s never disappoints me. Fish is always sooo fresh! I recommend getting the lion King roll and the big scallop roll as well as salmon sashimi. my grandmother is vegetarian and she had some good options here.

Slightly slow to get seated at 8:30pm on a Thursday, but wow the sushi is absolutely incredible. Fresh, flavorful. And the froyo is lovely after the jalapeño dishes. 9.5/10 awesome spot.

We decided to try a new restaurant and were intrigued by their ‘Mango Secret’ sushi. We ordered it through DoorDash, and when it arrived, we were blown away! It was the best sushi we’ve ever had, with mango slices, sweet potato, rice, and sauce. We’ll definitely be ordering it again!

One of the best sushi spots. I have been ordering sushi consistently from Doordash and right after ordering I call them to request little extra ginger and chopsticks since there is no option to enter instructions on doordash for this restaurant. Everytime whoever answers the phone they are just so nice and always accommodating. I am going to start going there to dine in soon. Mango secret is a must try.

It was late and me and my lady were craving sushi. MJ sushi was open till 12 so we drove on over. I was not expecting to be blown away but boy was I. All the fish was so fresh and the service is out of this world. Mendy(i think that’s how it’s spelled) took care of us like she was a grandma taking care of her grandkids. I think i found my new favorite sushi spot in the Bay Area! Pardon the terrible photos we scarfed down everything but i promise the presentation was lovely .
