Local here. Mainly writing this review for the normies giving this place two or three stars which is complete absurdity. Go back to San Francisco and pay $75 per roll and a tik tok video on how cool the place is. The people working here are awesome, beers and sake are cheap, service is fast, rolls are great at a convenient price point. They even have ice cream for desert and they are open super late which is unusual in this part of town.
some of the yummiest and most inexpensive, sushi and sashimi I have ever had. I’ve gone all the way to San Francisco for sushi and MJ‘s never disappoints me. Fish is always sooo fresh! I recommend getting the lion King roll and the big scallop roll as well as salmon sashimi. my grandmother is vegetarian and she had some good options here.
Amazing people amazing food and I love it here feels like home, omg I am a huge sucker for sushi and this has to be the best, this is a lot coming from a sushi lover! The people there are honestly amazing and heart warming I love them they are the definition of hard working and loving!! 🍣🍱🥰
