Tides offers a stunning ambience and wonderful food and service. Guests have experienced unforgettable seafood meals, starting with *The Low Tide* cocktail and ending with the buttery **Sea Bass**. The **Prawn Tacos** are praised for their tender, juicy fillings, and the **Clam Chowder** is noted as rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. The decor, with deep green velvet upholstered banquettes, high ceilings, and plants, creates a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. Service is very good, and meals are excellent. Non-alcoholic cocktails like "the love of L" are available, and the smoked old-fashioned is a highlight. New appetizers like Teriyaki steak skewers are delicious. Fish entrées, such as the **Sea Bass** and blackened halibut with mango salsa and Passionfruit beurre Blanc sauce, are excellent. Desserts like carrot cake and flourless chocolate torte are winners. Even when busy, the restaurant maintains a nice noise level. The wine list has a subpar selection, but the food, service, and ambiance are great. The **Fish and Chips** are delicious, not oily, with perfect batter. Attentive service in very lovely surroundings makes Tides a place worth revisiting.
