This place is a hidden gem in Davis, CA. I discovered this place during my stay at the Marriott (which is just a block away) and they have really great deli sandwiches as well as a easy going beach atmosphere. The sandwich breads are fresh and they are packed with meats and veggies. They also have a good selection of draft beers. Why go into downtown Davis when this is so easy and you don't have to fight for parking.

Giant sandwiches. Filled with great meats and cheeses, veggies and condiments. A large is enough for two people, easily. It weighs like 3 lbs. Service is great, personal and everything is made by hand after you order. I have eaten there twice and both times I’ve been very impressed with the food, the patio and service.

Wow, stoked we stumbled on this place, in the middle of a long drive. Staff was so freakin cool, made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Top 4 sandos I've found in Cali, great beer selection, cool cool staff. I will definitely be going back anytime I'm even near Davis. Thanks! *If you're a sando freak and wanna know the other 3 sandos in my top 4 are High Street in SLO, River Shack in Eldo, and some brewery near the Costco in Santa Cruz

This is downright robbery. Was giving a decent amount gift card for christmas. When I tried to use it I was told they wouldn't honor it because a year ago they changed owners. WHAT!! I got it for Christmas. ARE YOU SERIOUS? ITS A GIFT CARD still in the envelope. That is the lowest of lame.

Unclean place. Employees do not wear gloves or wash hands after touching different meats and sandwiches—unprofessional management. I would not recommend this establishment, and I cannot believe they have been in business this long with the way they run things. If I could give negative stars I would.
A fantastic sandwich place excellent theming, friendly service, and great food. The sandwiches are BIG, stuffed full of literally as much as can fit on the bread.Parking: Small but adequate parking lot.

Went on Sat 10/14We ordered two Santa Cruz Sandwiches to goTook them 30 min to make our order and then on top of that our sandwiches were made incorrectly and they forgot the cream cheese Without the cream cheese it felt like I was eating a subway sandwichI think i'm retiring from going to Beach Hut DeliIt has gone way downhill
